I see from pictures that there is a lot of seating near the Oasis Lagoon.  It looks like a lot of umbrellas.  Are these first come first serve?   Does anyone have a recommendation on the best place to sit for maximum shade?

If I want to buy some cans of soda before we embark, and I allowed to bring those on board with me?

Does the Divinia have shower curtains in their cabins? We have an inside. Or do they have shower stalls?

I know you typically pay for soda, but if you eat in the dining room for dinner can you get a soda at dinner or do you still have to pay for it at dinner?

We are going on the Star at the end of March to Hawaii and want to see whales with our 4 year old.

I have heard that at that time of year you can see them right from the deck or even your balcony.

Can multiple people confirm this? Are the whales close enough for a toddler to see from the Star decks? Does anyone have pics taken from the cruise ship they can share?

Does anyone know how often the shuttle runs from Lahaina to Whaler's Village? Also, what does it cost? I am trying to determine how much time we can have on the beach and still get back to the ship by 5.

We really want to do a whale watching tour in Maui when we are there in March. We will be taking our 4 year old on this tour. I know Princess uses a large Catamaran that seats like 150 people. Does this tour feel like there are just too many people to really see anything? I am especially concerned as I want to be sure that our little guy will be able to see.

They did last October when we went on our Panama Canal cruise. this was the Coral Princess

We just returned from the 6/1-6/8 sailing and I must say - it was great! There honestly isn't anything I could find fault with. We had a great time - enjoyed the cruise director and staff - had a great cabin attendant, nice meals in the dining room and wind jammer and truly enjoyed the ship overall. :)

Did you do the Eastern or Western Caribbean. If the Eastern, did the strange time in Puerto Rico (3pm-11pm) give you enough time to do anything?

Wow! Those pics were amazing! Do you know what time sunset is that time of the year in San Juan? I want to book dinner at Chops for that night and I want to make sure I make them late enough to enjoy that sunset.

Well, I moved our promenade coabin to deck 7. I am so excited about this cruise! Any suggestions for San Juan. It seems like such a weird port time (3pm - 11pm). Is there time to do anything before it gets dark?

We are planning to be on FOS on the Oct 5, 2008 sailing. I am looking at a Promenade Room (overlooks the Promenade). Is deck 6 too low? Are you basically at the same height as people walking on the Promenade? I don't want them to block my view of the parades and stuff because people are standing right outside my window. . . Would Deck 7 be better?
