What "odd" things do you look forward to when cruising?

A few years ago we sailed a back to back leaving Florida on July 5......a back to back with Dennis and Emily. We were on the Mariner of the Seas. We never saw rain and every morning we waited to hear the happy fun voice of our captain.....Good Morning, Good Morning ,Good Morning its "Captain Johnny"! He always had some funny one liner or at times even a dopey one liner to I guess help us forget about the hurricanes we were dancing around. I never had another fun captain like Johnny. Has anyone seen him , is he still around?
