Royal advertises that kids under 5 are free at Jamie's. Just noticed that our reservation is charging is $15.12 for our 4 and 2 year olds. I called Royal and they said there's nothing they can do, other than have us cancel the reservation and rebook. My concern in doing that is losing out on the specific day/time that we've already booked. I even asked for an OBC instead. Seems like there's an easier way here. Anyone have any experience with this??? Thanks!!

Going on a family Alaska cruise with the grandkids. They will be 2 years 9 months and 4. According to what I read, they will be in 2 different age groups in regards to kids programming. The 2 year old is potty trained, and the 2 kids would love to be together. Wondering if there are exceptions to the rule in putting the 2 kids together. Thank you!

What time is the main evening show each night? Thanks in advance 😄

Our cruise ended in Athens this past July. We arranged for a private pick up along with a 1/2 day city tour with Timeless Athens Tours (same car and driver for both). Was wonderful and included a drop off at our hotel. Would highly recommend it.

Don’t get too excited. It may be free, but it’s very slow and frustrating. My wife and I were fine with sharing our one free connection.

I typically book my insurance thru Costco. Can’t recall the company they use, but the coverage has been solid at a good price.

No, never.
A jacket for men is as dressed up as anyone ever gets, even at the Captains table, and about 50% of the men won't even wear that.
Didn’t bring a jacket and felt totally comfortable and appropriate.

Was on Riviera a few weeks ago. Had room service breakfast 3 mornings. Was hot and very good!

Just returned from our first Oceania cruise on Riviera (long time Princess cruisers). Loved it! Opted for Concierge Class. Don’t think it was a bad decision. Access to the lounge, while not a highlight, was nice. Latte, non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, cookies...all nice. Maybe what we enjoyed most was the 3 free bags of laundry. We began our vacation prior to the cruise, so this was a nice amenity. Almost forgot... earlier access to specialty restaurant reservations and early boarding was also appreciated.

Hi! Coming up on first Oceania cruise. I see that the ship docks in Athens at 6am. We’re in no hurry. What’s generally the latest that one can disembark, and can you specify a time?
Thank you!!

I've stayed at both of the Hyatt Place properties. Free transportation from the airport, free breakfast and shuttle service to the ship...that costs $8-$10.

Love your live post! My wife and I were on the Regal in February and will be back on in a few weeks. Really love that ship!

My wife and I are considering our 2nd cruise on the Regal. Looking at Riviera 432. See that it has the larger angled balcony. My one concern is noise from being so close to the elevators. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

We were on the Regal 2 weeks ago. We arrived at the port at around 11:15a. Kudos to Princess as things were very well organized and orderly. We were on the ship within an hour. Have a great time!!

Enjoying your posts!! We're on Ovation in 2 weeks and can't wait.
What time is "early dining" (reserved) on the ship? When we booked our cruise over a year ago, we were told 5:15p. What I'm seeing on our cruise documents is 5pm. I know it's only 15 minutes, but might need to slightly adjust a planned excursion or do anytime dining that evening.
TIA!
