Has anyone rented a cabana here for the day?  What were your thoughts?  How is the service?  We have previously rented at Royal Palms and while we love the cabana there, the service was pretty lousy.  We had to find our concierge to order lunch or if we needed anything as he never came by after the first initial contact.  We are not demanding people, btw 🙂  but would just like another option if possible.  Thank you in advance for any help!!

I've tried to research the grand vista suite on the Paradise and only found a couple of videos.  Has anyone stayed in this suite?  How does it compare to the Grand Suite?  Is it worth the extra money to upgrade?

Is a 9:35 a.m. return flight too early for TPA on debarkation day? We have FTTF, booked a suite and are self carrying luggage. Thank you in advance for any advice!!

We are a group of 3 ladies looking to book a 5 day cruise on the Paradise.  The questions we have are: 1) Is there an outside shower near the Serenity deck?  I know there is only 1 pool but it would be nice to have a cool shower occasionally.  2) What has been your experience with debarkation, how long, how early, etc?  We are looking to self debark as soon as possible. 3) Any tips or tricks you'd like to share?

The person I was referring to was at the counter printing our passes. We were never rude to her but if customers before us were, that is still no reason to act the way she did. After these posts, I would think she was a port employee.

The concierge that greeted us and took us aboard was excellent and everyone has been friendly and helpful onboard. BTW, we are traveling with another couple who is not in a suite, so with X you get the"Royal" treatment regardless of your location!

We were met by a sweet lady who escorted us to check in with Mary Beth. Needless to say, Mary Beth was having a bad day. She was not only rude to her fellow co workers but also to us as well. When one tried to help her out and explain, she all but told us to keep quiet. Not a great way to start your vacation. It pays to be nice!!!

Mongolian Wok is right inside the Lido restaurant.

All cabins have cooler/fridge. No cabin has a microwave.

1) Where is the Mongolian Wok?

2) Where is the best area for sunbathing that's not loud (other than adult serenity area)?

3) Do the Ocean Suites have a refrigerator/microwave?

4) Any tips/tricks?

This is a girls trip with my mother and adult daughter. Here are my questions:

1) Is it best to arrive at port around 10:30 a.m.? Or, do you have another suggestion. (We have FTTF)

2) Are there secret decks on this ship and if so how do we get to them?

3) Best place/deck for sunbathing and is like the Sunshine and you have to get out early for a chair?

4) Best place for lunch on embarkation day?

5) For handicapped parking, is this in a different location than the building and is it still free?

Did you print your menus from this link? We are also celebrating our 25th on the Sunshine and we are very excited. Although there are some negative reviews, we are looking forward to our trip and plan to have a great trip. Thanks for the review.:)

Thank you!! We are sailing on July 10th also. I usually check every day (including this morning) and it showed nothing available. I saw your post, logged on and there it was! My main reason for purchasing FTTF is that our cabin will be ready as soon as we board.

BUT, just checked a bit ago and they were available!!! So excited that I was finally able to purchase this. Now, the countdown begins!! Yeah!!!:D

I currently have Verizon cell service. I would like to be able to text or what's app my children when we travel on the Sunshine and I'm looking for advice.

Do I need to get the cruise package with Verizon or just use the internet package on the ship? Can I use regular texting or do I need to get a special app?
