Either one, it depends on which other Carnival ships are in port. Terminal D and E are adjacent, so plug in either one and confirm by looking at the ships once you are in port and see the beautiful Horizon!

That's what I figured but wanted to be sure. I believe I can figure out which one the Horizon is when I see her! 😄 This will be our first time on a "new" ship so we can't wait!

  2. I have the address for the Miami port as:

    1015 North America Way
    Miami, Florida 33132

Which should be the address for Horizon's dock but which terminal do we use?

Terminal D - 1435 North Cruise Boulevard, Port of Miami, Miami, FL 33132
Terminal E - 1265 North Cruise Boulevard, Port of Miami, Miami, FL 33132

Trying to determine the exact address to give to the cab driver.

    Thanks.

i have a question that may be answered by cigar dude or any others who can help. I'm going to Nassau and checked the la casa del habano site to see if they opened a location, they haven't.  they do show a place call 700 wine and spirits as a associate location but I cant find anything more. does any one know with out any reservations that they sell authentic Cuban cigars. I tend to lean towards no but with there name on habanos site my hopes are a little elevated.i hope another  BOTL can help.

There are no legitimate places to buy Cuban cigars in Nassau. I have "heard" that they have some in Atlantis but if they do they will be crazy expensive. You can go up to Graycliff Hotel and visit the cigar factory there. Again, they are expensive too. If Nassau is the only island you're going to on this trip forget about Cubans and take your own sticks.

Several islands have an LCDH. If you are going to others let me know, or do a quick check online. ONLY go to LCDH's when you're in the Caribbean to ensure you're getting the real deal!

  4. No, it's a nice beach and it is cleaner than the public section a short walk away, but it's a small beach and quite crowded. We'd taxi a little further to Dominicus and the beach there unless you want the Dreams AI option...

We'd need access to bathrooms, food, and drinks. Is that available at Dominicus?

  5. The last time we were in Curacao we went to Blue Bay Resort. Is that still a popular beach spot? Can you still do a day pass there?

Are there any others you would recommend?

    Thanks.

  6. I'm a little late to this post but the ONLY place to get Cubans in Coz is the LCDH. I know the owner. Great guy. He also owns the LCDH in Cancun and other places in Mexico. High prices but legit stuff.

  7. Thank you! It sounds like the gates to the parking lot don't open much before noon. I wonder if that's normal. We'll plan on getting there and sitting in the car for awhile. Sounds like the FTTF really helped you! That's good to know.

  8. We just booked the Fantasy out of Charleston and Boston will be performing! Got the tickets to the show. Should be really good!

I assume they sell only enough tickets to fill every seat; not oversell.

Is it general admission once you get in or are the seats assigned somehow?

  9. Hi everyone. Some of you may know me from the Carnival boards. We're looking at a 12 day European cruise on the Spirit. It looks amazing. Anyone familiar with this cruise?

Looking at a balcony room. The only bad news is I see where cigars are not allowed on the balcony. That seems strange since you can smoke cigarettes out there but...apparently that's the rule.

Where is the cigar bar onboard? Which deck, which part?

What about cigar smoking on the open decks. Which side does Norwegian designate? Etc.

Looking at some pics of the interior of the ship it appears to be quite ornate. If you have any pics to share please do so.

The ports look really good. If things come together in the next month or so we'll be booking this for April, 2015.

Any input from you is welcome.
