Saw the notice of your X review on the Princess Board so...reporting for reading (and photo) enjoyment. Welcome Home.

We loved our brief stop in Barcelona in 2010 - I had a permanent neck problem trying to see every beautiful inch. Again your LSF photos are stunning. What a wonderful cruise journal this has been. Thanks so much Norris.

Thanks for a great review - your photos are stunning!

I walked past the stairs then thought "wait a minute" and went back.
Glad you like it.

an especially romantic capture....love all the street scenes too...oh and the vinyards, vistas, ports....ok....just love it all....

cannot wait for your photos and commentary on Cinque Terre.
On another cruise we were warned against taking the train - that we wouldn't have time etc. etc. I regretted it ever since (especially since some fellow passengers DID go and, of course, loved it). Thanks so much for all the effort and passion you've put into this review.

Again, stunning photos and your comments musing about day to day life in the ancient city are thought provoking. Maybe there ought to be a Bimmer Guide or a PBS series for your travels?

Wonderful photography - the shots at sea, sunsets and moonrise are stunning. It's also nice to have the details - good and bad. Enjoy your fall color tour, Indian Summer should start here tomorrow.

Hi All,
First things first this live from is open to all to post away
Emerald Princess will always hold a special place in our hearts and memories,
Ok she is the ship that we did our longest cruise on, the ship that my luggage went missing on. But she is also the ship that we renewed our vows on, which lead us to having our own little TV show The Real Love Boat, which lead us to renew our vows again both times on our anniversary which resulted in us being the centre spread in a national newspaper.

Love the abbreviated review - looking forward to the expanded post cruise report ...and photos! Enjoy yourselves

Excellent review - very informative. Your husband's photography skills are excellent as well. I appreciate your candor especially regarding Princess shore excursions. We learned the hard way on the Grand in 2011: one hour at Bodnant in Wales due to "late start" but we still managed an hour plus at the souvenir stop...
Looking forward to your next review.

Brilliant review! Enjoyed every page and photo. We sail the same itinerary, same ship, from Houston in December - even booked the cabin next door. Thanks so much for such an engaging story.

I found the following 'drink evaluator' helpful when debating the AIBP for our recent Med cruise. In the end I went for it and DH didn't which worked out well for us. I became a regular at Crooner's (made it my mission to work my way through the martini menu[emoji6]), picked up a bottle of water on port days, I bought a couple of bottle s of wine at 40% discount which I shared with the DH and maybe an after dinner drinks (or2). DH mainly drank beer and took advantage of buy one get one for $1 Happy hour.

Brilliant, wellybeth! Just what I was looking for- thank you for posting the menus as well.
My only confusion is that I thought I read that all parties in the cabin must purchase the AIBP...true? And is there a policy regarding buying someone else a drink with your card? Even with the price increases I think I'd need to consume 7 beverages daily to equal the cost of the package...

We'll be on the Caribbean Princess in December and I'm debating the purchase of the AIBC. I don't know current beverage prices but suspect prices have gone up since posted here in 2014 - alcohol and coffee. It seems that we would each need to drink 8 - 9 items a day to cover the package cost. Or buy a round or three to make the card a bargain ... I'd appreciate hearing experienced opinions. :D
