  1. I am booked on a 14 day cruise from Barcelona to Rome starting on May 3, 2018. The cruise is also offered as two 7 day back to back cruises. On the 7 day cruise, I can make one reservation in each restaurant. On the 14 day cruise, I can only make one reservation in each restaurant. Seems unfair. Should I cancel the 14 and rebook as two 7's?. Would I get two reservations in each?

  2. Insignia has one laundry room on deck 7. 4 washers and dryers. Each wash and dry takes one token. They are available at reception and cost $2 each. It goes on your shipboard account. I found that evenings are a good time to wash.

  3. Having just gotten off the Insignia last week, I can tell you there are four outlets in the cabin (5 if you count the shaver outlet in the bathroom.) 2 110V and 2 240V are side by side at the desk. It is about 8 feet to one of the end tables and more to the other end table. We always bring a power strip to plug in multiple items. (cell phone, laptop, ipad, etc.)

  4. Having just done the ferry from Papeete to Moorea and return a week ago, one of the issues is that the schedules change from the web site. You won't know the actual ferry schedule for 2016 until December at the earliest. Some days there are 5 ferries and some days there are none. Keep a watch on the Aremiti web site and see when the schedules are posted. The trip from the airport is about 20 to 25 minutes. Ferry cost is $15 per person each way. No discount for a round trip.

  5. I just looked again at our May 16th cruise from Sydney to Tahiti and see that Oceania has added the perks of Your World on Sale. It includes $500 shipboard credit, free pre-paid gratuities and free unlimited internet. As we have already booked and paid for our cruise, does Oceania automatically give these benefits to booked passengers? If not, should I contact my TA and have him inquire. Your responses are appreciated.
