I think that's a normal geographic number - included in most mobile packages.

You are lucky - I have still heard nothing and cruise this month.

 

I did not telephone in September to allow everyone time to sort things out.  However no-one is chasing me for money. 🙂

I had a similar issue. I did have an email from Celebrity last week saying that it was being sorted out. Meanwhile, my reservation was showing a huge outstanding balance.

Good news is that today my balance is showing as zero (fully paid). I have yet to receive an invoice confirmation but it does look like they are sorting through everything.

Yes, I agree. I assume it’s all going to get sorted. Trying not to worry or hassle the poor people trying to sort out the mess. 
 

Cruise is start of Dec, so time to get it done. I expect there are people cruising sooner on same situation.

Just wondering if anyone else is trying to sort out a Thomas Cook booking with Celebrity (cruise-only - no flights). 

We had paid Thomas Cook in full for an upcoming cruise. Both Celebrity and Thomas Cook are ABTA protected, so in theory everything should be OK.

Celebrity have effectively moved us to a direct booking but our account is currently showing we owe them for the full amount. I'm hoping this will get cleared up soon as they sort through the bookings.

Rather than logging in, have you tried accessing “AlreadyBooked”, “Online Check-in” then manually completing booking reservation info in enquiry box to bring up reservation? That worked for me.

Hi. Is anyone else having problems with getting into their reservation and completing the set sail pass?

I can log in to my account (the new format) an click the option to complete check-in and setsail pass. But then this just brings me back to my account. I have managed to get to the online check-in once, but when I clicked on the option to complete the forms for one cruiser I was taken back to the main account page again.

If it can help : there are buses at the cruise terminal (bus # 158) stopping at each terminal and going to the Primorskaya metro station.

 

Otherwise, Uber is also popular in SPB.

Another option this summer is to secure World Cup soccer tickets, since that makes you eligible for visa-free travel throughout Russia. Two options have been discussed in the forums: (1) Buy the cheapest tickets you can find during the WC ($105 from FIFA), and don't actually attend the game; or (2) if your ship is docked on a St. Petersburg game day, you can try to get tickets to a match that you'll actually attend (which is what we are doing).

My son and I have confirmed tickets for the final group stage match in SPB. We have received our FAN-IDs and are very excited.

Just wondering if you've scoped out travel to/from the stadium? Have been looking at taxis, but seems cars can't get close to the stadium and not sure how lucky we'll be getting a cab after the match. A free trip on the subway looks possible. Walk or taxi to the Primorskaya underground near the port then on to Petrogradskaya to pick up the shuttle bus (reverse to get back to the ship).

If only there was a water shuttle as we are docked so close!

Hate the art auction.
