  1. Hello All. My wife and I will be cruising on the Rotterdam in April. We've never been to Grand Turk, but did some research about the beaches. We would like to go to Pillory Beach on our first visit and possibly another beach the following week. Could you kindly give us some feedback/info. about Pillory such as: are there loungers to rent and are there restaurants and other facilities? Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

  2. Hello Everyone. My wife and I are new to HAL. We typically cruise on Princess, Celebrity and Azamara. We're scheduled for the 14 night cruise on the Rotterdam on April 3rd, and looking forward to this new experience. From all the pictures I have seen, the ship looks spectacular.  Has anyone gone to Pillory Beach in Turks and Caicos? Are there chairs and facilities there? Thank you for any tips or information that you can offer. Sooo excited!

  3. If you are a beach person, then go to Eagle Beach. It is a short bus or cab ride from the cruise terminal. They just opened an area beside the Costa Linda Beach Resort for cruisers, where you can rent chairs, Jet skis, Snorkel gear etc. There are restrooms and a bar and grill, or you can go to the Costa Linda bar or restaurants. If you would like more seclusion, you can go up tp Arashi Beach which is near the California Lighthouse. For great snorkeling, go to Boca Catalina and snorkel off the beach. This is where the snorkel boats go. Make sure you bring a bag of frozen peas. The fish love them!! Of course most of the action is on Palm Beach by the high rise hotels, but in my opinion, Eagle Beach is far superior.

  4. I have just reserved cabin # M310 and would like some guidance about whether this is a good location on the ship, and if there are any pros or cons. We are very familiar with the other Princess ships, but newbies to the Royal. Thanks for any insight you can share.
