I don’t know how soon your sailing is but some have had success with looking at checkin times a week before sailing and early times are available to switch to.
Cool - we’re July 30. I’ll just peek at the times again as we get a bit closer. Thanks!!

Most ports do not enforce suggested boarding windows and if you're willing to self carry off, you can be the first group off the ship
Yeah we always carry our stuff off so that works!! Thanks!!

Hi all - dumb question. Tried a search to find the answer and couldn’t. Long time Royal cruiser trying X for the 1st time. Just booked on Equinox for next month. In reviewing materials online it sounded as if Concierge Class cabins had priority embark/debark like the suites on Royal - but the earliest embarkation time I can get is 1:00P.
Is that no longer a benefit? Not a big deal, but will make a difference on when we head to South Florida.
TIA!!

Ha ha - I don't mind getting tested or paying for it. Just would have had my provider do it this week if we had known. But, I did finally hear back and no test is required, thank goodness...

UPDATE! Finally got someone from RCCL - they said vaccinated individuals are still exempt from testing until 8/12 for cruises less than 5 nights. I knew the minute I posted I'd hear from them!!
Hi all - we're heading out of Miami on Freedom tomorrow. We're both vaccinated and it's a 4 night cruise. We were under the impression testing wasn't required for us - the new testing requirements (for ALL cruises - not just 5 nights or longer) don't begin until Aug 12th per the RCCL website. However, upon filling out my health questionnaire, it says testing is for all.
Any thoughts? It's much too late for us to get a PCR test for tomorrow - I'm hoping that it's just incorrect on the questionnaire, or placed on there early to prepare for later in the week.
TIA!!

Sorry about that - the roll call must have had the wrong date on it. Roll call listed them as going out on June 28th, and being that they were relocating for the next weekend, I thought perhaps they had switched their itinerary.
Glad nothing was wrong! :) We ran into them in Nassau where we ended up parking for two days, and their guests enjoyed watching the World Cup match on the big screen on our deck.

Hey everyone - just heading out on Enchantment of the Seas and noticed that Gem was in port. Because I'm nosy and Norwegian is our next cruise line 'destination' I noticed that they were supposed to be out today.
Anyone know what's up? We're considering that ship for a Fall cruise out of NY.
Thanks much!

Thanks so much for this awesome review! I'm heading out on Enchantment Monday for a four night - having a crap week and was simply not even excited about going... Came here to CC looking for some inspiration and you helped a great deal! Thanks so much!!:D

I was a bit concerned after reading all of those negative reviews also. I've been on Enchantment in the past, after the stretch but before she went to Baltimore. We had a great time!
Anyway, thanks for reassuring me that our upcoming Enchantment cruise at the end of the month won't be a disaster...

Most excellent! Thanks so much!! :D

The RCI folks told me the other day they 'shut it down' 4 days prior to sailing, and then you can sign up on the ship. Can't comment on the embossed versus sticker as we haven't tried it yet ourselves - we will be on our June 30 sailing on Enchantment.

Probably a stupid question - I'm assuming this would include bar service in the showroom as well?? It's a 'bar' and I didn't see it on the list of excluded things, so I'm guessing it's OK. But I thought I'd check!!
Thanks in advance!

Yeah that was part of my concern also - I saw that it typically was over at 2. Oh well…
