We've reserved an excursion for our upcoming FoS cruise and paid for it by credit card (via phone, online payments still weren't working). However, we will end up with a decent onboard credit. Was wondering if once we get on the ship would it be possible to shift payment for it to the onboard credit...

I've been unable to reserve anything on their new reservations site, even free stuff! Keeps rejecting my credit card. Put in a couple of them, which I know for certain are good, and so far nothing works.

Mine are 4 years old and in no way do I want them up there. I currently have a sofa bed room reserved but I just wanted to verify that this was true. My sister needed to now as well.

So we're doing a big family cruise with my side of the family at the end of June on the Freedom to the eastern Caribbean. My mom is going and she has MS and somewhat limited mobility. She normally uses a walker (with a built-in seat) and will be renting a scooter for the cruise as well. I have some questions though:
1) We are going to Coco Cay. Is there any chance that she could get off the ship there? I've been there several years ago, but don't remember the particulars with tendering and wasn't exactly paying attention to handicapped accessibility. She can get up and down steps, but it's not easy. If she is able to get to the island, are there wheelchairs that can be used to get around in the sand? I know Disney's Castaway Cay has them...
2) How about getting off in St. Thomas? Is it possible to take a scooter off at the pier? If she got off with the walker, is it relatively easy to get onto a taxi (one low to the ground) to go into town?
3) I see there are a couple of handicapped accessible island excursions on St. Thomas and St. Maarten. Are these any good?

A Royal Caribbean rep told my wife that kids have to be at least 6 years old to stay in a pullman bed. Is that correct?

We ate there a couple of times on the Allure. It's nothing exceptional, but we enjoyed it.

ya right...He rode his gas combustion engine in the enclosed promenade
And how did they dissipate the CO that was given off ???
He did and he often runs it around the ship, even in the bridge and up and down in the elevators. He passed me in Central Park last night. :)

Late Saturday afternoon, Cap'n Johnny got on the horn and said that Allure would be stopping at Nassau at around 4:30 AM Sunday to retreive her wayward child, Lifeboat #1. Even Radio doesn't get up THAT early so we missed it.
Johhny also rode his Harley in the promenade during the Saturday parade. VRROOOOM
I just got off the same cruise and Capt. Johnny confirmed the lifeboat was towed back to Port Everglades and arrived on, I think, Thursday. It was going to be hoisted back onto the Allure today. The cabling issue was fixed during the week.

My wife prefers that the porters put them on at the port. They'll still do that, right?

Have fun! I'll be on there in 4 weeks! Azipod problems or not... ;)

Glad to see someone other than myself was not impressed with Aruba. My DW loved it (we were cruising for her 50th birthday so it was a good thing ;) ) but I was not impressed at all. It seemed to me once you got away from the resort area, it was nothing but Aloe and cactus.

I was disappointed in Aruba as well. I loved Curacao though!
For this list though, I would vote for Belize City, followed by Costa Maya and Ocho Rios.

We're going on the Adventure in May for our honeymoon. I certainly hope it will be a fun cruise! :)

Funny story....We went on the Freedom back in 2015 with my parents among others. We have an autistic son who was 5 at the time. One night, they watched the kids while we went to Chops. They decided to ask for a peanut butter and Jelly sandwich in the MDR for him. The waiter came back with bread along with peanut butter and JELLO....  :D
