  1. We were on Sky this past January.  Queen bed setup.  Each lamp had a standard USB port, but no outlets near the bed area or the sofa in a Mini-Suite room.  Plus one of the USB ports did not work.  Only outlets available were near desk area.  Two US outlets and one Euro as I recall. Also, just an FYI, there are adapters to go from USB-C to a standard USB port.  We got them on Amazon.  Also a battery pack may be convenient for sofa or balcony locations.

  2. When using the Princess App on my iphone and iPad, in My Profile, lower right corner of my photo, the Princess icon is blue and no status is listed. My Captain's Circle Level is Elite. My wife's My Profile is correct. We currently have 4 cruises booked.  I have called support multiple times in the last 8 days.  Yesterday, I tried to Live Chat with four different "navigators".  No one seems to be able to correct the issue or in some cases even recognize the issue. Based on Cruise Critic comments there seems to have been other passengers with the same problem as far back as last August, but I don't see any resolution(s) posted. Has anyone been able to get their profile updated or suggestions of what to try next?

  3. Non Commissionable fare - I think these are taxes and port charges. Travel agents can not discount this portion of the fare.

From what I understand - if a cruise is $1000 and the NCF is $300, the agent can only discount from the $700 fare. So if your agent discounts 10%, it would be off of the $700 and not $1000. I am not an agent and am purely saying this based on my limited knowledge of being a cruise passenger with friends who are agents. I am sure someone who knows more than I can correct me or explain this better.

    Thanks, again!

  4. We had to disembark in the middle of a cruise this past winter under similar circumstances. We also did not purchase the trip insurance. When we got home we discovered that the charge card we used to pay for the cruise provided for trip cancellation insurance and trip interruption insurance. We were able to collect the full amount (half of the fare - 20 day cruise that we got off after 10 days). We did have a document from the ship's doctor saying we should disembark for medical treatment. Our card is a Visa card and from a large box store that charges membership fees. I believe other cards may also be providing this coverage. Worth a check!

    Best wishes on your surgery!

  5. I have attached a copy of a Princess document about the Loyalty OBC for cruises 21 and beyond. I daughter (also our TA:D) got it from the Captain's Circle representative on the Coral a couple of weeks ago. You may need to rotate the view or tilt you monitor on its side.... Basically it states the OBC is per Household.

    Hope this works and helps!

  6. Update...Based on all your comments, I resent the fax this afternoon. The credits (3 cruises) were all posted within an hour! The 'FAX Fairy" must have paid a visit.:):)

I would like to see them accept an email attachment also. Perhaps they are concerned that if someone doesn't blank out the account information the customer would be at greater risk than it being sent via fax.

  7. Just called Princess Booking Support to see if they had received my fax application submitted on August 7th. They checked (not sure why), indicated no they did not receive it and then informed me that their fax machine has been down since July 7th and I should send the form in via regular mail. Anyone successfully fax their request and receive their credit recently?

  8. OBC for Loyalty

I believe these are correct. If not, I feel sure someone will correct me. :)

    21 - 31 cruise credits $25 onboard cabin credit

    32 - 41 cruise credits $50 onboard cabin credit

    42 - 51 cruise credits $75 onboard cabin credit

52+ cruise credits $100 onboard cabin credit

Thanks for the information, Thrak. I didn't know that occurred after every cruise once pass 20 cruises. Something more to look forward to!

  9. We were in D149 in January/February this year, which is close to D207. We did have a service door a little to the right of our door as we exited the room. It was access to a crew stairway and was used a fair amount, but not during the middle of the night. Actually, I believe there was some visiting crew or relatives staying a few rooms closer to the bow from us and they used it the most. Occasionally, staff from the SPA would also use it. D207 is a little further away and might be alright. Seems like there was a second door in the area, but I don't recall seeing it used.

  10. I am waiting too we don't sail till the 13th. I was wondering about progressive check in. This is our first time on Princess and our documents state we should board at 2:30 I was hoping to be on before then.

We always ignore progressive check in and haven't had a problem. Princess seems to usually start boarding around noon. In transit passengers, Elites, Platinum, and then everyone else usually close to order of check-in.

  11. Packer fan here from the Lombardi, Starr, et. al. days...

Me too! I think I started cheering for them in 1963. Been a fan ever since. After all the entertainment they provided, I even donated some money to them and bought a share of stock to become a "owner". Looks good on the wall...:)

  12. I have definitely read this thread plus some other BVE threads that I found via search. So far this one has had the most/best information.

I will see if I can find the press release.

    Thanks everyone!
