Try Med-jet and TravelGuard Med Evac. I believe that they take care of the necessary medical treatment necessary to stabllize a person and the cost of med-evacuation back to the U.S. Very, very reasonable premiums.

And all I have to say about this is -- WOW! All this for a simple question. On the Noordam we've had 2 buffets in the MDR on 2 seperate sailings. To tell you the truth I couldn't tell you what they were for, between the Suite invitations, Mariner invitations, and the this and that invatation I just can't keep track of it all. I do know that we eat very well no matter where it is on the ships and enjoy every cruise we've been on with HAL.

There will be a nicely printed invitation once you're onboard; I take it along but have never been asked to show it.

Just have to say something on this. First let me say that we do observe the dress codes for formal as well as other nights. However, we've seen everything from a tuxedo printed T-shirt and shorts, jeans with tails cowboy boots and hat and BIG belt buckle (I actually like this look and have threatened my wife with this attire on numerous occasions), to formal tuxedos on formal night. The food taste just the same, the atmosphere and crew are still exemplary regardless of what is worn. We enjoy cruising for what we want and not what others want to do. No matter what you want to wear, or for that matter don’t want to wear, we are still going to people watch and enjoy our time aboard. So I say, wear what you want. Maybe we’ll see you on a HAL cruise sometime!

My wife and I are Christians who agrees with Deanswife, we would have been appalled by that shirt! We have sailed mostly on Holland America and have never witnessed something like that in any common areas, much less in the MDR.

Charles Stanley, as well as others, have offered Christian Cruises through their ministries. On one of these cruises I looked online to get a price but the cruise did not show, so I assume the whole ship was chartered for this event.
