Is this the first time, I ever got the shareholders credit. All other request I got the rejection "Your cruise Fare does not qualify". I was told that you received another promotion from Celebrity and so you could not have both!
-
I also submitted using the online portal. Received no acknowledgement of receipt. About 9 days later received a guest invoice with the additional OBC applied, no email saying it was applied for both our BTB cruises..

to all my friends on cruise critic who’s have added so much joy to my travels. From travel planning advise, to meeting you on board and keeping up with posts — you have enriched my life.
I feel the same way! This is a great community, who has made our cruises better in so many ways! From the friendships we have form with other members, to the sharing their experiences to get the most out of each of our cruises! Hopefully I have in kind paid this forward to others in the cruise critics community. To all far winds and following seas.

My condolences, to the family! She will be great missed by the cruise critic community. I have never met her, but insights to those sailing the EDGE have been a great contribution to myself and many others. She will be sorely missed. She was a special person to always be there for others.

At the moment, there is an offer that booking Aqua is the same price as Balcony or Concierge.
I see this as an excellent opportunity to book Aqua.
We are Elite and in the past we have had 2C balcony for 2D price.
Can I claim an upgrade in Aqua?
Many thanks.
Yes you can use your Captains Club benefit and pay for a A2 Aqua Class cabin and get a A1 Cabin!

We were on Equinox last week and when we got on we noticed only 5 free movies and all others were $14.99. We checked again mid week and they were all gone. Called Guest Relations and they said broadcasting department said that the contract had ended and they would not be offering free movies in the cabins anymore fleet wide. Please chime in if you are seeing the same or it was just poor service and communication on the Equinox. Cheap move on this one imo if true. I think it was Wednesday September 2nd that the movies were gone and I got this response from Guest Relations. Anyone cruising right now let us know. Thanks
I found this post from Chicago Paul who is currently on the Millennium, I though I share with you! I will find out next month for myself, but thanks to this thread I will be downloading some movies to my IPAD for the upcoming cruise. Here is the link to Chicago Paul post;

I can only tell you that Celebrity never holds them on the night before departing due to packing issues and putting out the luggage in the hallway. My experience on this goes back 25 yrs with Celebrity even when they actually had formal nights. I’m sure other regulars on this board will confirm it.
Well I found this information about the Chic Night from others who are currently on this cruise! Also we do not get off the ship in Naples, Italy they will disembark in Rome, Italy on October the 11th. So you are correct they would not be holding the formal or chic night before they disembark in Rome!

Thank you PENN ST. 66' - appreciate it...so both sea days it seems. This will help w/ our booking. Have a great day and thanks for the helpful answer.
Not a problem We are the October 21 same cruise. We are in port on Day 1 in Sicily, Italy till 8:00 PM and Day 8 in Valletta, Malta until 8:00 PM so it only make sense that they would be the sea days.
-
According to others have posted the Days for the Chic Nights would be Oct 2nd and Oct 9th.

We missed a tour with Viatour because they closed the port and we were unable to pull in. I got a letter from Guess services that we were unable to pull into port. Once we returned home I sent a copy of the letter to Viatour and got a full refund. Always get a letter for the ship that you were delay or could not enter port if this happens and fill a claim, this is the only way most independent travel companies will process your claim. I am sorry you missed your port and were unable to get your refund. I just hopes this helps some in the further.

Differently Murano it is the most romantic, and always great service. I would recommend this because you always fell special afterwards. My second choice would be the Tuscan Grille get a table for two at windows at back of the ship and watch the wake as you have your special dinner.

For a Barcelona to Barcelona 7-night cruise that doesn't stop in a non-EU port, it's my understanding that there is a 10% VAT on all food & beverages + a 20% VAT on all other goods & services throughout the cruise. Does that include gratuities?
Does anyone know if you are exempt from the VAT if you pre-purchase any of the items ahead of time thru your Cruise Planner?
Here is article that was on cruise critics about VAT I hope this helps.

I know there are spreadsheets on Carnival and NCL boards on here but has anyone done one for RCL? It's where you enter in number of sea days, number of port days, cost you paid for drink package, and select what drinks you think you would have. It calculates if the packages are worth it.

Looking for info on sunset veranda cabins on the celebrity eclipse (6307)
What information are you looking for? I have stay in this cabin on Eclipse our last cruise! You are next to a suite with a private access door for your cabin and the suite. It was very quite and had a great view of the wake. You can not look straight down at the water you have the roof of the Tuscan Grill extending out about 6 ft. or so! The cabin had a normal size balcony! If you require more information please let me know!

I just completed our online check in for our March 30 Cruise last night and have a question.
when I got to the section about expenses... there were only 2 options
Credit card or Cash account..... there was no option to select On Board Credit (I selected Cash account)
We would like any extra expenses to come out of our OBC... is there some way we can ensure this will happen?
thanks in advance
They use the OBC first, all your expenses will be subtracted from your OBC! If you have OBC from celebrity it will show up on the first day or two on your account. If it's from your travel agent it takes another day or two for it to show up. You can check this on the TV in your stateroom. I would take a copy of the perks you are to get with booking with you in case the OBC does not show up on your account. If you have problem take your copy of your reservation to Guest Relations so you can get it corrected! It is so much easier to get it corrected if you have this information with you. The credit card or cash account is set up so if you spend more than your OBC they have someway of charging you for your charges. Hope this helps explain why they only give you two choices. Just another point of reference on this matter, check your onboard account a few times during your cruise so you make sure you spend all of your OBC or your not shocked with a big bill at the end of your cruise. It is a lot easier to take care of a charge that you did not make early in your cruise than the last day when they are extremely busy! Have a safe cruise!

I just got off the phone with a Celebrity representative and asked about the dinning packages, she advised me dinning packages for specialty dinning are not available for passengers that are in inside rooms, is this correct? If it not correct which I suspect does anyone know what the packages and pricing are?
You need to call back and talk another reprehensive. I never heard of that you could purchase a specialty restaurant if you are in an inside cabin he must have not understood what you where asking! Here are some of the packages!

Hi - Just wanted to see if anyone has ever requested to have beverage packages exchanged for one of lesser value? We have two cabins booked for upcoming cruise on the Silhouette - will be my husband and me in one cabin, and our three children in the other. Our girls are all under 21 so no one can drink alcohol (legally, haha), but one of the perks we had selected was to include the Classic Beverage Package for first two guests in each cabin. Now the cost of two Classic packages would be more than if we exchanged for three Premium non-alcoholic beverage packages for the kids. Would any of you happen to know if they would allow this exchange?
We were able to pick two perks so we also selected the OBC. Our TA is throwing in prepaid gratuities as well, so that perk through Celebrity is not necessary for us. And, quite frankly, I don't need the unlimited internet b/c I really can't wait for us to be unplugged for @ two weeks.
TIA for any thoughts you may have!
I would have your TA contact the captains club and find out if this is possible it can't hurt to ask! Since the classic package is $55 a day and the premium Non-Alcoholic Package is only $22 a day. Good luck!
