We have an overnight in Cabo in December and would like suggestions for a restaurant not too far from where we are tendered for 6 seniors to have a nice Mexican dinner and margaritas with chips and salsa.  We don't want fancy, just good food moderately priced.  Thanks to everyone.

• I tried again today to book flights.  Two different people tried it .  On the phone about an hour each time. They still are waiting for IT to fix the glitch.  Celebrity IT never improves.  They told me to call back in 2 days but no sale then😒

The prices shown were from Kansas City to Auckland NZand returning from Melbourne Aus, for $950- $965.  Several choices in that range on American airlines and returning on Qantas.  All included 2 stops each way or jumped up to $1800 or more for 1 stop.

I tried two different times today to change my flights with celebrity for February cruise to new zealand and home from Australia.  The flight specialists could see the flights I wanted but due to computer glitches could not book them.  We tried several options but none worked.  They said they were working on the problem  but I should call back Monday.  The sale is for the weekend.  They said they would try to honor the prices once they resolved the problem.  I really wonder if it is true sale or gimick.  Prices are about $300 pp cheaper than they have been.  Anyone else have this problem today?

I have been trying to arrange an excursion from the Celebrity terminal to the Blue Mountains for the second Sydney day in our Feb. cruise.  We will have until 10 PM so I felt that would be a good day.  I would like to visit Scenic World and Featherdale Wildlife on a group tour.  But, I can't find any tours that will pick up from the White Bay Terminal unless they are private tours and those are above my budget.  They leave very early in the morning and I would have to arrange transportation to the central district to one of the hotels on their list.  Does anyone know of tours that will pick up at the terminal?

My husband and I and two other couples will be taking our first Viking cruise in February and have a couple of questions.

First, when dining reservations open up for us, is that for the main dining room times or just specialty restaurants. We would like for all 6 to be together. Do we just show up at the dining room or do we make reservations for each night?

Also, we have received obc from our travel agent and from a special promotion from Viking. Is any of that refundable if not used or can any of it be used for gratuities at the end of the cruise.

We will be on a cruise next month and have a 9PM departure from Portland. We are thinking it would be a good chance for a fresh lobster dinner. Any suggestions for a good place near the cruise dock. (Celebrity Summit Oct. 5) Thanks too you all who give us so much good advice.

more casual dining rooms (not buffet) like Bistro on Five only included in price

replace the lawn and cabanas with loungers with space between them so you could actually get in and out of them easily

clothes line in shower (love the glass doors)

would prefer higher quality over quantity of food available

better entertainment-- not broadway type song & dance shows

better night stands with more outlets

I saved some money on Princess with their self serve laundry but I lost good vacation time searching floor to floor to find machines that were available. Too much late night laundry time-- don't think I would do it again.

Has anyone received their FCC yet? If, so, can you share the dates that it is good? A year from the date of the cancelled cruise? Do you just have to book a cruise in 1 year or must it be completed within a year? It seems we should have received them by now. We would like to know if we can apply to a 2015 Baltic cruise (we won't have the info on that cruise until next spring) or if it must be applied to a cruise that is completed within a year. Thanks-- hope this mess will be behind us SOON.

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – Very noisy at night even at 2 or 3 in the morning due to a smoking station below us on deck 5. Loud talking and laughter meant we could never sleep with our balcony door open. :mad:

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – life boats below

It would be nice if Celebrity would move the smoking stations away from the cabin areas. I love to sleep to the sound of the ocean and felt cheated by having to keep my balcony door closed-- it might as well have been an inside room.
