  1. Harry Potter at Universal is amazing.....you'll love it! Make sure you try the butterbeer!!

it'll be crowded in april, but since you'll be there on a weekday you should have a little less of a crowd. Universal also sells a front of line pass, although i can't remember what it costs. You can check it out on the website..

95 is not a toll road, but it's so out of your way from the theme parks. Save yourself the aggravation and pay the tolls on the turnpike. It's such an easy drive.....You can switch over to 95 in Ft Pierce and save a bit of money.

  2. So what did you think of Sarah for a guide? She took us on a tour of the Vatican back in May and that is something my wife still talks about. For us, she was amazing, so knowledgable and she was able to keep our group of eight moving so we could see so much in the limited time we had.

We also had Sarah as our Vatican guide just about a year ago, and she was amazing. I tend to get bored very easily, and she really kept me interested!

Same for our guide that RIL arranged for us in Pompeii......Antonella.....just awesome!

  3. Just back from our cruise, and we used RIL in Rome, Florence and Naples, and I can't say enough good things how what a great job they did. Looking back, I'm amazed at how much we were able to see!

Our drivers were Laura in Florence, Nicola in Rome, and Raphaelle in Naples. We also opted to have RIL book tour guides for us at the Vatican and Pompeii. Sarah (Vatican) and Antonella (Pompeii) were fabulous.

  4. I will add that it pays to book ahead. I made my reservation in July of 06 , and the same D1 is now $500 per person more than it was then. Heading into the final countdown after 500 day wait.

I agree...definitely book ahead! We booked 12/07 for FOS 11/2/08. We're in an E1 balcony, and I just checked the website today, and there isn't a single balcony available! And the comparable oceanview is $300 more than what we paid!
