From the Celestyal web site Jan. 25 "**Celestyal Crystal shall not be calling at Punta Frances from 25th January, 2017 until further notice. Celestyal Cruises is working closely with the authorities in Cuba to resolve the issue. In the circumstances, Celestyal Cruises shall be offering a 50 USD$ per person credit against each passenger’s shipboard account (no cash alternative is being offered in relation to this gesture) and has made all arrangements to extend your stay in Havana on Tuesday until 22.00 hrs (instead of 17.00hrs) to allow you additional time to explore the beauties of Havana. In addition, we are offering a 10% discount on all future cruises booked on any CELESTYAL vessel and valid for cruises until the end of year 2018 (such discount is not applicable to taxes and gratuities). "

The cruise line has a you tube that shows the various cabins in detail. Balconies start towards the end - about at the 12 minute + mark.

"The Miami-based Norwegian Cruse Line Holdings Ltd., which has a combined fleet of 24 ships, received approval from the government of Cuba on Wednesday for all three of its brands—Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Oceania Cruises, and Norwegian Cruise Line—to call in the port of Havana as of March 2017."

We're US citizens. Credit cards won't work in Cuba. Did you bring cash off the ship? If so in what currency? And how much per stop? Thanks for replying.

Hello, all!
We are booked on the Feb 24, 2017 sailing out of Montego Bay. Does this forum serve as the Roll Call for all of the Celestyal Crystal Cuba Cruises, or has Cruise Critic now set up Roll Calls for Celestyal?
We've been reading the Boards and the itinerary looks great. For the second Havana day, I've contacted a high score TripAdvisor guide and asked about an itinerary that includes
= Hemingway walk (bars hotel)
= Hotel Nacional (including waterview lunch)
= Rum museum
= Cigar factory
= Morro Castle (inside Visit)
And a few others.
Also trying to understand whether Trinidad is worth the try.

I'd like to share interests with others who have booked that day. We're tow 70+ from West Palm Beach. We are thinking of a private tour for the second whole day in Havana:
- Hemingway walk (bars, hotel)
- Nacional hotel (lunch by the water)
- Rum museum
- Cigar factory
- Morro castle.
Any help would be appreciated.

Just back from the Montego Bay embarkation . The commentary on the drink control didn't quite align with our experience. We both had the liquor package and at dinner, the wine steward was great and was killing our glasses when they weren't yet empty. We also had some punch drinks and a new glass was voluntarily to be offered when the old one was empty.
