Yep, absolutely agree!  It's a pure money grab (make more money at their own destination than an ordinary port).  Why does RCI think we want theme parks at every single port?  I don't get it.

RCI would have no recourse to send an invoice to someone if their account was settled/closed online.  Probably why a lot of people still use cash to close their accounts.

What procedure do you mean?  If you are the one who is left you have 2 options:

1.  Meet the ship at the next port.

2.  Meet the ship at the return (origination most likely) port.

Either way, you are on your own for expenses and you darn well better have your Passport or you will be at the Embassy working it out...

This is probably the Royal Caribbean $100 non-refundable deposit.  Not hidden.  Clearly published.

You should have a future cruise credit for the difference between the deposit you paid less the $100.

I've been on Harmony and Allure.  I don't care for the Abyss.  I agree that it's a real eye sore.  Allure was nice and open to the sea and sky.

Honestly, I can't even imagine how much fun it is to slide down on a potato sack more than once anyway... 🙂

There is no direct benefit, but when you speak to the Head Waiter, you can inform him/her that you are Diamond and it may lend some leverage.  It's worth asking.

Also, I'm sure you have thought of this, but you need to make sure the adoption is complete before you cruise.  Legally you wouldn't be able to take those girls without written permission from the parent(s) unless adoption is complete.  Hopefully it will all be complete before.
