Thanks for the "stream of consciousness" review! We are going our first Royal cruise in October on Symphony, so your observations were very helpful. I have also purchased the 100 photo package. Is there an option for us to bring a flash drive to download the photos before we leave the ship? And not that I am super musical, but will definitely check out the staircase.

As a RCL newbie, I appreciate the food tips as we don't think we will be trying the other dining venues this time. We will be on the Symphony in October and hoping to try some of these favs you have all shared.

Imagination, July 1998, my mom had fallen in love with cruising and kept pushing hubby & I to give it a try. Very happy we gave it a try!

I know I am kind of late to this particular party, but I have only just started looking for information on Freedom. 

First, let me say that I always love reading your reviews! Love the pictures and your commentary.

Sad to read that it was discontinued. Should have booked it when I first saw it. From what I have red on other cruise line boards on here, the packages are working for them. Why isn’t it working for Carnival when so many have asked for it?

This makes me sad. I was looking forward to using the packages. Hard to believe they can’t make it work. They would be making a ton more with the all photo on a thumb drive than they spend on printing a bunch of prints that get thrown out.

We did it 47 days and 10 cruises. Our first was a 7 day followed by several group cruises of 4 or 5 days. Another one of 7 days with family and a 4 day 3 day b2b that was our 10th cruise and put us over the top. Still many days to go before we reach diamond. Have 7 day coming this summer.

My first cruise was on the Carnival Imagination. It was a 7 day cruise to the Western Caribbean out of Miami. There are a lot of things I remember about that cruise, including getting a free balcony upgrade! Okay, it had an obstructed view, but that didn't matter! We were hooked on balconies and on cruising from the moment we stepped into our cabin. Next was the amazing blue water and the size of the ship as we were moving away from the ship on a tender for our excursion to Tulum. Just an amazing trip all together and looking forward to every cruise we take in the future.

I have been on several Carnival cruises & have never tried the Tea Time. We are going on a large family cruise this summer & I will definitely try tea time at least once.
