They should replace it on Anthem. It's a la carte and usually pretty empty (at least off season). I'd like to see JR replaced with Fish & Ships (like Ovation).
I agree, the design of Johnny Rockets on the Anthem is 100% fail. It’s so pitiful.

Richie Minervini is one of the ships best highlights, his shows are not to be missed

Fully vaccinated is 14 days (sometimes 15) after your last dose

I ordered it last month on the Mardi Gras. Most disappointing meal I had the entire cruise. I've had Wagyu... what I was served wasn't anything like it.
My dh ordered the wagyu at the steakhouse, it looked disgusting on the plate. He ate one bite and couldn’t eat anymore😒

Don’t blame anyone for canceling, we have a rccl cruise next month, more restrictions now than my edge cruise in July. Will not book a new cruise until this is over.
What restrictions does rccl have now that edge didn’t?

Do unvaccinated children need to wear masks? And if so where are they required? Do vaccinated adults need to wear masks? And if so where?

The other thing to be careful of is trying to not get COVID in ft lauderdale before you embark 😵💫

In case anyone wants an antigen test to make sure you have your test within 72 hrs and results by embarkation try a walk-in clinic. I just called 2 separate ones in my state that have the antigen. However, there are no cvs or Walgreens in my state that do antigen.

Here are more reasons that getting tested is not easy.
I have looked at multiple CVS and Walgreens sites, none offer testing after 5 pm. So, if the 72 hour rule is from cruise sailaway , as others ( and I ) would use for safety sake, here's the problem.
Ship sails 6 pm Saturday. Test must be after 6 pm Wednesday. But no testing offered after 5 pm.
So earliest PCR test available is 8-9 am Thursday. 24-48 hours for results..could bring it to Saturday. That is cutting it close.
Choose antigen? Much quicker results, but in my area at least there are no Walgreens
( maybe in the whole state!) and 1 out of 40 CVS that do antigen testing.
This is the same for local urgent care businesses here.
This may not be simple, and i can't imagine how tough it would be if i had to fly in.
Are they seriously going to count the hours like this? Or is 3 days before embarkation ok?

Just got an email for my cruise this Saturday that has all the old testing/vaccination instructions…….. I don’t know why they can’t get it together to at least have the message of the day be consistent all around…..now if I show up at the pier with this email what will they say? I’m really surprised by how poorly this is being handled…..

I'm hoping there is some confirmation forthcoming if the Walgreens rapid IDNow test is an acceptable test.
Rapid ID is not a pcr nor is it an antigen test

I wonder if the one we can buy at Sams Club would be accepted? Seems like a lot of extra money for people to spend going to the Urgent Care place's! 100.00 to 150.00 per person is a lots of money to spend.I personally think the cruiselines should pay for people to get tested! JMO
I don’t think that’s acceptable… I heard early on someone as denied boarding for having the wrong kind of test. I don’t think they are going to be lenient on this on nor will they allow the naat (for us citizens). It’s costing celebrity a small fortune when they have to charter a private plane and get a limo for every positive case they take off the ship (plus I think they get a cruise credit for the cruise)
-
For some reason non US citizens are given the NAAT option but US citizens are not….. the ft lauderdale airport also has the antigen test

It looks like you can get an antigen test at ft lauderdale airport….that will be plan B if I can’t get one locally

I am going to call some of the walk in clinics tomorrow. I don’t see antigen available in any NYS cvs or walgreens

Where did you learn this? I just looked at the CVS site and the PCR is identified as PCR/Naat. I don’t see that on the antigen test. I have the antigen test scheduled for this coming Friday and if it is one Celebrity will not accept, that is going to be a problem for a lot of people on the August 8th cruise.
If you have an “antigen” test scheduled then you are good. I don’t have any cvs or Walgreens that offer that
-
I am on phone with celebrity now, I asked for a supervisor by I am being told pcr is the only test they will accept……. The closest antigen test available to be is in a different state.
sup says for my sailing pcr or antigen needed. If we don’t get antigen in time for sailing we can’t get on ship -

Did you make an appointment because that is the only way I saw that you can get one, at least in my state.
There are 2 rapid tests, antigen or naat…..the ship is saying we need antigen which most Cvs and Walgreens do not have
-
Has anyone found a place that does antigen tests? Most CVS and Walgreens do not have antigen….. the rapid they offer is “naat”
-
Just got off the phone, everyone needs a test 72 hrs before cruising no matter vaccination status.
Additionally, they said kids 12 and above need vaccination. Anyone 12 and above who is not vaccinated would have to take the 4 tests and would have to wear masks indoors and outdoors except when eating or drinking

For us, the issue is with the 4 tests that our kids would need to take. Per our letter:
Unvaccinated guests and children, under 12 years of age, will be required to take an additional antigen test at the terminal prior to embarkation, mid-cruise and on the day before disembarkation.
I respect Celebrity's right to make this decision and fully believe that it's made in good faith. And, my kids had agreed to getting the one test at the pier. However, these tests are a huge source of anxiety for my boys, and getting 4 tests in 8 days is likely a show stopper.
I'm incredibly heart broken, but there's a good chance that we'll simply cancel due to this change.
We have the same issue, subjecting young children to 4 tests for a 7 day cruise is just cruel.

Kids would need 4 tests for a 7 day cruise🥺

Before pandemic
Yes, I agree, my son loved it pre-pandemic. I’m wondering if there are any kids on the ship post pandemic and how the camp at sea is working
