  1. My daughter and I have been cruising with Buddy Cruise for the last 5 years! It is an amazing experience with breakout sessions, private dances, meet the cast members, and so much more! One of the larger events is the Buddy Cruise Walk at Sea. This year was our largest ever, there were just over 300 Buddy Cruisers onboard and each recruited at least one walker. This year there was close to 900 walking! There was fun and prizes given out. There are a variety of speakers each year; comedians, children's programing writers, advocates, teachers, writers and so much more! Buddy Cruise is not only for those with Down Syndrome, it is for anyone! Check out Buddycruise.org for more information on the 2016 RCCL Oasis Buddy Cruise, October 22 - 29, 2016.

I cannot speak for Autism at Sea as we have never been on that types of cruise.

    :)

  2. I'm very sorry to hear they did not provide decent accommodations for your son. My coworker, who also has a son with down syndrome, recently told me about a Buddy Cruise being offered in October with Royal Caribbean geared toward families with children with disabilities. Here is the link if that is something you might be interested in: http://buddycruise.org/pages/Default.aspx.

We are a part of the Buddy Cruise that will set sail from FLL on October 25, 2015. This will be our fifth Buddy Cruise and we are hooked! The ship crew, the Buddy Cruise families and most passengers are so accommodating to all of our children and adults with a very wide spectrum of abilities. There will be extra activities; dances, costume parties, carnivals, book readings, Buddy Walk and giveaways while onboard and I am constantly amazed at the number of ship staff and regular passengers who will take part in activities put on for our group! We welcome ALL to join us, regardless of abilities!

  3. On the NCL Pearl ship it stated you may bring up to 2 bags weighing up to 50 lbs each...Is the carry on bag considered one of those bags? Would I be allowed to bring 2 pieces of regular luggage, and 1 carry on bag?

    Thanks for your answers......Patty :)

Yes, you can have two regular pieces of luggage and then a carryon and evn a purse! :)

  4. I went to VistaPrint's website but the only magnets I saw were business card ones. When I clicked on magnets it showed (1), so it appeared that the business card margets were it. How do you order signs? I'd love to order door decorations for an upcoming family/friends cruise. Thanks.

On the home page, go to CAR DOOR MAGNETS, they are $9.99 & $19.99... Or you can click on specials and then FREE and they will come up . Good Luck!

  5. Search would be nice, but it would so very easy just to read the posts right there in front on them. Amazing how somebody can post a question on the board that is already being discussed, on the FIRST page.

    Oh well.

Maby we should post a new thread about "suite perks" in the AF mini suites!!!

Bring on the Popcorn!! Ha! Ha!:D:D:D

  6. Does not matter if you bring your own corkscrew, or even have a screwtop bottle. Same fee applies. $15 per 750ml

Never, ever heard of a limit as to the number of bottles.

Some people get stopped. Some do not.

If you were allowed on without a charge in 2007, consider yourself very, very lucky.

And, for those asking, I must assume you are new here at the NCL boards. You would serve yourself well to scan through the postings, and you may find answers to other questions you did not know you had.

Thank You GaryCarla! There seems to be at least one of these questions everyday. Too bad people don't use the "search" more often.
