Considering. Cruising solo on RCCL..Canada NE out of Boston..Oct 2...first time going solo but I meet people easily and am looking forward to the solitude.

I have a friend and one family member that may decide to join me but I have made it clear that I will not share a room🙂

Am looking at cruising (solo) in the fall and am intrigued by RCCL virtual balcony..esentially an inside with a real time image of outdoors projected on wall...will probably book one cause my only gripe with inside is that you have no idea what the weather is..how sunny etc...should be interesting

Also..in St Thomas..(and probably other Virgin Islands)..Calypso Island Vanilla Rum...

We used to bring a dozen bottles back with us when we were frequently doing Easterns...it's a very mild, nice, sipping rum or good in Coke...

We always went to AH Reise and the clerks got to recognizing us..in conversation she said they cook with it!..I guess there it's considered cheap crap rum but we love it..they always had tastings of it there and have other flavors too!

Gosh no...the photographers are EVERYWHERE!

My favorites are photos on the stairs...they always seem to come out nice.

The Legend usually sails from Tampa..That's the Sunshine Skyway bridge...Legend sails under it misses it by about 15 feet but it sure looks alot closer when you're standing below and watcching her sail.

So glad this thread was started ..we don't cruise til December and this will help get me through the wait!

We've sailed her before BTW and been to the ports she calls upon many times.

Belize is really gorgeous..but definitely a place you want to plan an excursion of some sort.

Once you get past the port area and gates it's not the safest most pleasant place to stroll around..(think Jamaica but scarier)

However..it is one of our favorite ports-of-call..We've had terrific dive and snorkel trips from there. Another great one is the River Tour...

I've heard great things about the cave tubing..maybe we'll do that this time around.
