guest who booked prior to March 6, 2020, if you decide to change vacation plans, we will allow those booked on sailings between now and May 31 to move their booking to a new date and receive a Future Cruise Credit (FCC) in the amount of the non-refundable cancellation fee.

    Try calling Carnival asap!!!

Thanks, I got the letter from Carnival on Friday and we did decided to cancel now and the FCC. I just got off the phone with them a little while ago actually.

  2. Our cruise leaves March 15th. We have gone back and forth a ton over the weekend but have decided to cancel and rebook. Especially with the recent State Department warning. We would be sailing with a 6 year old and 2 year old, an extended quarantine in our cabin with the kids would be my worst nightmare. And I realized the cruise wouldn't be enjoyable because we would be worrying about that possibility, catching the virus, etc. Plus the possibility of missing a lot of ports. Just not worth it.

  3. I received the letter as well this morning, our cruise is March 15th. Now to decide what to do...my daughter is turning 6 the last day of the cruise and is so excited about her "birthday" cruise. We have two cabins since there are 5 of us and we're on a 6 night cruise, so $200 per cabin if we don't cancel. Leaning toward still going but glad we have some time to decide.

  4. We're cruising on the Horizon on March 15th out of Miami. Now that the Princess ship in quarantine, I am getting really concerned for our cruise. We will have our two year old and six year old with us...an extended quarantine in the cabin would be pretty impossible for longer than a day. I wish Carnival was offering an option even for us to put what we paid into a future cruise credit, if they were we would probably do it instead of taking the risk to cruise and end up in an extended quarantine with two young kids.
