We asked our cabin steward while he was in our suite. So no...we were given the wrong information. No big deal I know for next time.

That's really too bad. Guess the lesson for us all is to double check. Hope you enjoy it DOUBLY next cruise.

On my last Gem Cruise, I was also told that Cagney's was not open for lunch. So we went to the buffet, had lunch, walked upstairs to check out the ship and yes, indeed Cagneys was open.

Cagney's is NOT open for lunch for non-suite passengers. So, if you did not identify yourself as a suite (not minisuite) passenger, you were given the correct answer.
