Yes. With two logons  you can both be online at the same time. That's what you're paying for (even if it was included in the Retreat package).

To be clear, you CANNOT both be online at the same time sharing a logon.

That's the information I needed.  My husband will get his own account.

    Thank you so much!

FYI, I just reset mine on the website... to my actual password (that it had told me was incorrect)... and it worked.  So I get to use the password I've always used. 🙂  I gave it 5 minutes, went to the app, and the new/old password worked fine this time.

I just did the same and it worked!  Thank you!

Martins Taxis! Scroll down to Cruise Ship Transfers section:

Taxi zeebrugge, taxi brugge, taxi to bruges, havenvervoer (martinstaxi.be)

For convenience sake I've copied the information from the website-

    CRUISE SHIP TRANSFERS

From Zeebruges cruise terminal to the center of Bruges and back cost € 110 per vehicle (up to 8 people maximum for the same price).
We bring you to the center ( Market Square). You do not have to walk 30 minutes to get to the center as when you take the train or bus ( you don’t lose time)
You can decide when you want to go back to the cruise ship by making an appointment with your driver.
Day trips to Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels are also possible.

Twice we've been to Zeebrugge and headed into Bruges, and this is the service we used. I booked Martins once since we had 8 in our group and the second time we lucked out by joining a roll call member who'd organized this.

If you don't have others to share the ride, ask on your roll call. Even if only 2 more sign up, the price is a relative bargain!

This is the reply we received from Martin's Taxi:

    GOOD DAY

NO NEED TO MAKE A BOOKING

YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE THE FREE SHUTTLE BUS FROM THE SHIP TO THE CRUISE TERMINAL WHERE TAXIS ARE WAITING IN LINE

ROUND TRIP WILL COST ABOUT 110 € PER CAR FOR 8 PASSENGERS

IT IS NOT A FIXED PRICE

    DRIVERS DRIVE ON THE METER

IF YOU WOULD HAVE A PROBLEM ON THE DAY YOU CAN ALWAYS CALL ME

    THANK YOU AND BEST REGARDS

I spoke to a nice woman from Celebrity’s Executive Office last week who said that the butler service will be available for Sky Suites for our upcoming sailing on Edge on 13 March.

That is such wonderful news.  We sail on Edge in May and we loved having our butler set up breakfast for us and all of the other wonderful things he or she did to make our trip amazing.

So looking forward to having a butler again!

WaterPik.  FYI, its NOT a floss replacement but rather a companion; one of my best friends is a dentist and Waterpik's replacing flossing is a huge trigger for her (lol)

You don't have to floss all of your teeth, just the ones you want to keep😁

We got off an 11 night Beyond cruise on 12/22.  We hadn't been on Celebrity since January.  We were in a SS.  We were concerned about the cutbacks and negative changes written about so frequently.  We had a very good cruise. The staff were as great as always.  We never got an upcharge for anything less than $25 (so $8 for Veuve) though the Premium package limit is $17. Never a wait in Luminae though suites were sold out and we like to dine around 7.  Food quality and variety were good.  A room service person delivered breakfast rather than a butler who we never met.  Fine by us. We have another Beyond cruise booked for January 2025 in a SS.  From booking until today the price went from $10k +/- with tips and $1500 OBC to $15k +/- and no tips and no OBC.  So rather than booking another SS on Celebrity we are trying a PH on Oceania.  After factoring in gratuities and beverage package we are about $400/day less on Oceania.  For us its well worth a try.  I doubt we will consider it a downgrade.  Suites were full on our cruise so Celebrity isn't losing so far.  For our money we owe it to ourselves to give a competitor a try.

You will love the PH on Oceania!  It will  not be a downgrade.  Enjoy your new adventure.

Yup, and as we've already discussed, even SilverSea and Regent are now the same or cheaper than many comparable X cruises.  And they do not nickel & dime over water or soft drinks.

It reminds me of part of our honeymoon on Lizard Island in the Great Barrier Reef many years ago...we paid an absolute fortune for this all-inclusive experiences (still the most expensive per diem thing we've ever done).  The price included all activities, food and booze....you name it....but it did NOT include soft drinks.  So despite paying four figures a day for this uber luxury resort, they wanted A$7 for a coke!  Talk about leaving a bad Taste in your mouth!  🙄

If you go back to the Great Barrier Reef try Bedarra Island next time - just as pricy but EVERYTHING is included (they even made us ice cream every day for my pina colada's everyday.)  Sorry Lizard did that to you.

This is good to know! I will be needing to book flights for my Norwegian Fjords cruise out of Amsterdam in 2021.

Question (for anyone): If I use them for air, am I limited to going in and out of Amsterdam? I am thinking of going to London for a few days after the cruise (I want to do the Harry Potter studio tour and a Downton Abbey tour) - would I in that case just need to book the to Amsterdam through this and the return from London (and getting to London) on my own?

No you are not limited.  We finished a cruise last year in Southampton and stayed in London for a few days then went to Paris for another few days and flew home from there - no problem at all🙂  Enjoy your trip!

  9. Carrie and family,

I can’t tell you how deeply saddened I was to hear of Marilyn’s passing.  Her presence here on Cruise Critic will be sorely missed.  Your mother was a gifted writer and she made all of us smile and each one of us better for having known her – if only in print.  We went along with her on all of her travels and when we got to do our own trips we were better prepared because of her passing her wisdom down to us.  It’s hard to express how important she was to so many of us here on CC and how she made our day with her postings.  She will be missed.

I can get sick watching television but I love cruising. I start Bonine the morning of my cruise and wear my electronic Relief Band whenever the ship is moving. Corner aft is my go-to cabin on Solstice Class ships.

On small ships (smaller than Millenium Class) you might feel a "fishtail" motion aft in rough weather.  Happened to me on a small Princess ship. Was not pleasant.

I've only encountered "bouncing" in the fancy suite on the small ship Grandeur of the Seas. The cabin was close to the bow and had major "up and down" motion during our one evening of rough seas. (That was pre Relief Band for me.)  Stayed in bed while everyone else was looking at Gibraltar.

I'm another proponent of RELIEF BAND - my husband has been wearing it the last few cruises and loves it - did not feel sick at all.  We were in a corner aft cabin on the edge and he loved it.  He tried meclizine and didn't like how it made him feel.  The patch works but he prefers the RELIEF BAND.

You and your daughter will love the EDGE - it is an amazing ship!

    Happy Sailing!
