Thanks to all for the input.  What T-Moble tokd me was when on the ship to turn celluar data and roaming off and just use the ship's wireless service.  When on land to turn data on, but leave roaming off.  

I have an iPhone.  I want to be able to get and receive emails and texts.  What are the best settings to use to avoid roaming data charges?  Thanks!

We are doing the Mediterranean Odyssey in early October and the August 12 Pre-Departure information on MVJ now lists Pre-Departure testin as "Highly recommended - taken no more than 3 days prior to travel".  Looks like Viking has done away tith required pre-flight testing.  Does any on disagree?

We are doing the pre-stay in Madrid prior to our Mediterranean Odessay cruise. I have another question for the Forum since you were so helpful on my previous question!.  How long is the included Viking tour?  From the description on live for the pre-stay it seems fairly extensive.  Also, it says there is a tour of the Prado museum.  Is this correct and if so are tickets included?  Thanks for any assistance.

Could it be that you have reached the "free" capacity for your email account?  Check at the bottom of the page.  It will tell you how much of the free 15 GB you have used.

I ask because Viking ships have their own labs onboard.  I wonder if it would suffice to meet the regquiremnts?

Has Viking said anything about the new requirement that anyone flying into the United States must have proof of having had a negative Covid-19 test?  Will Viking do this if booking air with them?

The amount paid represents the 3.3% discount for allowing Viking to withdraw the funds directly from your account.  You are good to go.

What I read appears to imply if one of two persons in a cabin get Covid they will be quaratined.  What happens to the other person, especially if one is sent home?  DO both people have to quarantine?  Let's see how this is answered.

We do not sail until October so hopefully all of this will be back to the "new normal" - whatever that will be!

I have a cruise scheduled for next year on the Viking Venus.  Is the Venus going to be completed on time with all of the issues currently going on?

If you speak with Viking and ask about their "Fit to Travel" policy you will find it deals with persons with special needs and severe medical issues.  Attached is the policy and the form from Viking.
