We were there just last week and yes-you can be dropped off right in front. the lone was fairly long when we were there so we just walked as it was only a few steps. The way to go is what Brighton lone said-pull in the middle where the buses are and go to the end and you're right there!
We got there at noon and were on the ship in minutes! easiest embarkation ever!!

If I was you, I’d make the best of things…not going to change a thing complaining here..the YC on your ship is a great place to be. I was there before they moved to NY..
Yes- agreed. Let's complain about the important things like what were the TV channel and movie options??!😆 During a storm-you all might want some good TV options that I love to gripe about and see it from my side of the fence!!! LOL

People here have already talked about how to cast or stream from a self-brought device. Â
Â
That way, you have exactly what you want.
This is where my kids roll eyes at me.🙄 Streaming and device stuff goes over my head at warp speed!! LOL

The TV only had one channel that played free movies and most of them were in black and white from the 30's to the 50's. Only news channel was CNN.

This is a huge issue with me personally. I don't know why they can not have some other sort of movie/drama channel that most all other lines do have. I am sailing in a few weeks and I have a feeling it could be a game changer. Sorry-I know most people say they don't watch TV while on vacation but some do.
What I don't understand in my Seaside sailing had a much better movie channel on a loop. Where did that go??
That's why NCL is still my go to line.
Come on MSC-add a few more channels for the American market please.🤞

We found it first thing in the morning at the buffet and if we did not see it by the little milk cartons, we just asked and they will get it for you.
If staying in YC of course the butler will keep you stocked up!

Does anyone know the current mini bar protocol? Meraviglia specific. Heard so many things and some changes so not quite sure what is offered and how often now.😕

Our limo driver drove past the main entrance on the right and dropped us off right at the YC tent. Â Porter immediately took our luggage. Â I stressed about it unnecessarily because it was all very easy!
Thank you so much! This was the exact info I needed.

This was great information. One quick question:
When getting dropped off, any video I have watched shows you stopping in front of the main entrance that would be on your right.. Do you pass the main entrance and then get dropped off in front of the YC tent [which would be to your left] or walk from the main entrance to the blue tent to drop off your luggage?
-
Thank you so much Jamie for taking the time to do that.
Enjoy your cruise and keep up the information. It is so helpful for those of us getting ready to board for our cruises!

I have literally not turned on my TV yet, but I will try to check for you when I am back in my room. I definitely will not be able to answer any questions about PPV in the YC, as I am just in a Fantastica Balcony.
Thanks. I laugh because no matter where we go, it's the first thing we do. Turn the TV on. LOL
Have a great time!

Loving this as I just booked for November out of Brooklyn!
Â
As many who know me-you know what question i am going to ask......LOL:
What English TV channels are there and how much to rent pay per view movies??
Â
Believe it or not-this is the one thing that keeps MSC from being my first choice. Crazy as it sounds.
-
Free in room pay per view.
Better TV options for all-not just YC.!!
-
What in room TV channels are available?
Â
TY so much for answering all our questions!!

Don't know how to do the IPad thing. [son lectures me often LOL] that being said what's on TV is somewhat important to us.
I think a while back Royal had a channel called drama. It was a pre-taped TNT kind of channel. Hubby was in his glory.

I'm so glad people are asking TV questions. Getting ready for dinner, getting ready for bed and some times during the day are where so many like a good movie or even some "Law and Order"- LOL
Â
Hopefully MSC will understand some of us Americans love our TV 😊📺 Heck-I need it to sleep at night.

This is good to know!! thank you!! Planning a Divina cruise as we speak and I was wondering about TV.
Any drama/comedy kind of channels?? Some cruise lines had that fake TNT channel as I used to call it.
Â
I know so many say TV is not important but to some....it is....😀

On the Divina the YC restaurant, Le Muse, is all of the way AFT>>>>>> on deck 15. So you have to go down to 7, walk across the length of the ship, take elevator up to 15.  🙂
Â
Question:
Why all the way down to 7 then up to 15??
I'm currently planning a first time Divina so all info is a plus.

But you are okay with a four night and a three night booking, it’s the seven night booking that still needs to test.Â
That's why I'm waiting. Fully vaxed and boosted but will not cruise until testing is gone. This is why I'll do a short BtoB for now. This is what some are saying-does not make any sense.
If after September, 7 nights open to no testing I'll book one of those. At least I have the luxury of waiting until I set it in stone as to which cruise to book. For business reasons, can't cruise before November so I have some wiggle room here.
I shouldn't complain because its a start and i'm planning a cruise!😀.

However had I booked a four night and three night I would be ‘home free’ so it’s sort of crazy that we need to test for a seven night.
THIS!!! I have a 4 and 3 night in the 'going to book category'. Cant cruise until the end of the year so I'm hoping it changes after September so I'll hold off for a bit.

Thank you. Didn't want to post any article from another cruise line since some people think we should only address MSC on here.
Well- I kind of figured best way to answer the question would be by quoting the direct source for info!! 😀
The era of the fact checkers.............. LOL🤣

All the driver has to do is pass everyone like he is leaving and can drop you off right by the YC tent. The port staff may yell to get going but they let you unload! From the tent, they do not escort you to the terminal but it is a quick cross of the street and you are there. Easy peasy.
