    We were actually on the Ruby on a back to back last year and the first package price changes came on the second leg.  I happened to find a pamphlet instructing employees on what to say to sell the new package, even when you say no to something.  They have access to what you were offered and then how to get you to buy.  I decided then that we would never buy a package or it will never stop and that's what I see.  I guess with the big settlement after illegal dumpling Carnival corp needs to make us pay their settlement!  I like Princess but it is getting ridiculous.

    If you have smoking neighbors you just have your cabin steward come into your room go onto balcony and see or smell it and the cabin will be warned and fined if they don't comply.  I've have had to do it many times!  Some of us paid for non smoking balconies and should be able to use them!

    It will show up on your account only.  They won't tell you when you order!

All I can say is.......be sure you get it in writing.  Perhaps the app will be fixed and debugged before you cruise.  We were unfortunately on the week they were transitioning.  In the packet I have it shows symbols for the old packages and the new and whichever pops up on their scanner will be the one they use for your pricing. We checked our account everyday to see if we were charged correctly.  The Ruby DID NOT have drink prices listed anywhere but they found an old card with old prices with a few drinks on it.

We just got off a back to back on Ruby 2/19-3/6.  We were fine but we don't eat at the buffet.  We did not see anyone get sick but we saw people with their suitcase on the way to isolation.  The only difference was..we were asked to use out cabin bathrooms with I do anyway and to use sanitizer everywhere.  They spooned your food onto your plate instead of self service.

  6. Just returned from Ruby.  We had all the things, shrimp Cocktail, onion soup, etc.  Our waited said that because many complained they put them back on the menu.  He told us to put down what foods we want on the comment email because they do listen.

On our cruise last week when they started the New Plus and Premier Package someone left the 12 pages of how to marketl the new packages and convince someone to buy it since you can do it onboard the first 2 days now. I read the entire packet and  I was shocked to see questions and answers if someone shows interest and how to show them its a good deal which it isn't anymore.  The desserts are 4 ice cream sundaes, there was no juice to be seen and who goes to 2 fitness classes on a cruise?  We could not even find a list of drink prices.  All I know is that 2 frozen alcoholic drinks were $25 and that is ridiculous.  We went back to back and our gratuitities, classic soda package and all other drink prices really increased. drink package $82-$104,   We had lots of incorrect charges for alcoholic drinks and had to go to guest services often. The wifi was out often and their scanners were not working all the time.  We finally went to guest services to get a printout of what exactly was included since there is nothing to tell you the brands etc!  Each passenger should be able to see which brands are included or extra.  The waiters could not tell us if Hot chocolate was included.  Some said yes and others said no.  One told us there were no non alcoholic packages.anymore...WRONG.  It's just not on the sheet with Plus and Premier. They only want them to sell you the Alcoholic packages! Lack of correct info can cause you to order and pay for something your package does not cover and they don'[t really  know so they can't tell you!  Good Luck!  I'd be sure you have it in writing as to what you have paid and purchased!

    If you purchased the old Plus package for drinks up to $12 you must pay more to get drinks up to $15 otherwise the old package was used.

Just off Ruby Princess.  We had a back to back and got caught in the change over from the old Plus/Premier to the new.  It was a headache but they easily removed incorrect charges due to the issue. After seeing what the upcharge now pays for I don't this it is worth the value.  Slow getting drinks due to less waiters and wifi was very spotty.  Even made a joke about the wifi in one of the shows.  The drink prices have all increases too.  I wish more would complain because now you even have to pay $10 to get your medallion delivered.  I did the math based on our cruise and will not be buying any of the packages again! What I did find out is that the Medallion will show them where you are at all times on the cruise.  They scanned mine and told me my sister in law was in the elevator on her way to dinner.  I don't like that they can track your every movement but I must have signed off on it somewhere along the line.  I just want everyone to know they have complete access to your whereabouts.  A cocktail waittress used it to tell my hubby where I was.  Scary!!!

    Just print out more of his Platinum tags and put on your luggage too!!

Final payment was due in April but my TA delayed it to May just in case RCCL cancelled our August cruise first.  They did not and I did not want them having my money so we just cancelled before final payment was due and called travel insurance and got a refund to use on any cruise in the next 3 years.  I bought refundable deposit cruise so money will be back in my account.

    I totally understand my beef is with them claiming they can't offer anything to loyal cruisers except a Lanyard when they are spending big bucks on other offers!  This isn't directed at gamblers!

    They were gone in June!  Large dispensers replaced them!!! Better bring some ziplocs!!!
