  1. Hi Everyone,

Is there anyone here that worked on the Dolphin IV during 92-93? I am looking for a guy named Tibor who is from Hungary and was a waiter in the main dining room.

If any one knows his last name or has current info about him I would be really happy to know more information.

    Thanks,

    ~Tamara~:p

    Tamara,

I worked in the Gift Shop from 92-93. I remember Tibor, but unfortunately never knew his last name. He was on the Oceanbreeze with me as well.

  2. A friend had recommended the Dolphin Cruise Line way back around 1993. My then fiance' (now wife), and I had never been on a cruise before. Our cruise departed from Aruba (I think it was the Seabreeze), and then we went to Grenada, Barbados, Martinique, and Curacao.

I think that you might be talking about the Oceanbreeze. If so, I was in the giftshop in the fall of '93. That ship had a terrific run.

At that time, I think that the Seabreeze was in and out of Bermuda.

  3. 1] I sailed on a ship out of New Orleans to Key West and Cozumel and Cancun in 1990. Can't think of the name of it, but I think it was a Commodore cruise. Any ideas about which ship this might have been?

I would bet you're thinking about the Emerald Isle. I worked in the gift shop there for six months. We sailed her last cruise before she was sold and sent off to Asia.

Several friends and I took a Southern Caribbean cruise in November of 1996. It sailed from Oranjestad, Aruba, and had a great itinerary that included Trinidad, Tobago, Barbados, and Martinique. The ship was not in great shape, but the itinerary and activities on board made up for it. We cannot think of the ship's name or the cruiseline which operated it. Any ideas?

I'll bet you're thinking about Dolphins Ocean Breeze. I was in the gift shop about the time you cruised!

  4. Hi! We must know each other as I worked with the Dolphin IV since it's Paquet/Constanna/Florida Nautica days. I'm Carlos Ortega and you have brought back may fond memories by mentioning all of our ex-colleagues.

I am sure the Chief Purser you used to replace was Maria Torreiro.

Tell me who you are. I am trying to get a reunion of ex-Dolphin employees together and would love to include you.

You can either reply to this message or send me an email to COrtega777 at aol dot com.

I worked on the Mighty Dolphin IV in the gift ship in '92-3. My first and favorite ship.
