  1. In re-reading the extremely negative review by "Dasic," the following passage caught my eye:

"As a final gesture during our disembarkation (we left the ship two days early) our luggage was left for us to carry ourselves. When asked if this was intentional, we received a plain 'Yes!'."

Sounds as if "Dasic" may have been asked to leave the ship!

  2. Aussieflyer-I was on the Quest one month before the negative reviewer you referred to and my cruise was one of the best ever. And I have been on Seabourn & Regent (Radisson) as well as Celebrity. That review was so uniformly negative and so contrary to my own experience that I personally suspect something else is behind it. In other words, I don't believe it.

  3. The problem cruises were the early ones, as Azamara readily admits. Some people are still booking expecting a large ship experience and thus are disappointed when they discover the entertainment is low-key, dining is open seating, all-casual dress codes, etc. A few reviews raise legitimate points that Azamara seems to be addressing. A few others are "special pleading" or ax-grinding reviews. But I really enjoyed my Azamara cruise (Best of Italy) and have booked another for next year.
