We leave on Saturday & I still haven't received an email from the Concierge....
-
Thank you Bob! You are always so helpful! :)
-
They might send something like petit fours or chocolate covered strawberries. I've not heard of canapes being delivered.
But they do serve some type of hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour in the CL lounge don't they?
-
Just wondering if we will get canapes brought to our cabin on formal nights?

With the new UP promotion we were able to enjoy Moet & Chanson at no extra charge. The package included a complimentary bottle of Domaine Chandon in the stateroom. I also noticed DC was the mixer used in the bellinis at Champagne Bar. Oasis
Was it in your stateroom on embarkation day? I was going to order a bottle to have in the cabin for when we arrived but if we're already gettin one I won't bother.
-
Good, be sure to come back again and let us know what you think.
Will do! :D
-
Update : Yesterday I was able to make a lunch reservation for embarkation day online. Can't wait! :D

You can drop then park . Porters will take bags
Here is map so you can see for your self

We never park in the port . We live local and cruise a lot. Found easier parking off premises
Thank you! This helps a lot. :D

What's the procedure for parking your vehicle; specifically can you drop off your bags with the porters & then park?
Also how far of a walk is it from where you park to terminal 18?
-
Thank you. Might just pack one anyway just in case.

Are there a sufficient amount of plugs in the bathrooms? Just wondering if I need to bring a power bar?
-
Ok don't want to start trouble but you used to be able to smoke up there can you still?
I hope so. That's where they used to have the cigars under the stars. I'll be very disappointed if they stopped allowing it there.

I just checked. It is about 2 miles from the port; approx. 6 mins. drive. Considering what I've read about them and have no personal experience with them, I booked online and pre-paid. Apparently, they are very friendly and helpful. They take your luggage out of your vehicle, put it in the shuttle and then take it to the curb at the pier. Since we've never done this before, I won't have an opinion of them until we get back!
I'm thinking we'll probably do this as well. I don't want to park at the pier and have to schlep my luggage across a parking lot.
-
From what I have read on the Thread, if you use Park n' Go, they will shuttle you to the pier with your luggage and pick you up again. If you pre-pay on line, you save quite a bit. I don't know how far it is but I am assuming, not far. Besides, they have the shuttle.
Park n' Go isn't directly at the pier though is it?
-
If you park at the port can you drop your baggage off curbside and then park the vehicle?
How far is the parking lot from the actual cruise terminal? We're sailing on Oasis which I believe is terminal 18.
Thanks!

If parking directly at the port can we drop the luggage off curbside & then park? How far is the parking lot from the entrance to the terminal?

I just read they are they are $30
Thank you!

Hi. I was talking about this with another cc member recently and he said it was $50 each way.
Thank you. :)

HEY glad to see a fellow passenger on here!! DH and I are celebrating our 25th anniversary on this cruise and bringing along our 3 kids ages 23, 20 and 15. We haven't been on a cruise since our honeymoon 25 years ago and the kids have never been so it should be quite the experience!
Nachi looks like a great spot, I now remember looking it up when initially making excursion reservations. However, we are doing a snorkling excursion with a private tour company that morning which is costing us about $55 pp so I don't think we can swing another $55 pp for some beach time especially since we will basically have a whole day at the beach on Labadee a couple days before. I think we will just do some shopping and stop by one of the "Free" establishments along the water for lunch and lounging like Money Bar.
I hear ya. You all will LOVE Oasis. It's amazing!!! If you have any questions feel free to ask away! I was on her in March and loved it so much that I'm going back! :D

I answered this for another Celebrity Cruiser yesterday (post has since been moved to the CC Florida Board)
Cheers!
Is this the official port parking site?
-
Yes. I reserve it for my husband online before the cruise and when the charge comes through on the sea pass account on board it already has the discount applied.
Perfect! Thank you!
-
Very Interesting...
Since i have the Ultimate drink package in just a few days, I can't wait to see if this promotion is really working!!!
:D
Please report back!
Have a great cruise! :D

What is the cost of Nachi Cocum and do you have to make a reservation ahead of time? Is it all inclusive? We have a morning snorkling excursion booked for the day we are in cozumel and are looking for somewhere to spend the afternoon.
Hey there, we are on the same sailing!! :D I just booked Nachi yesterday, I was there back in April & we LOVED it! When you book online you have to give a deposit $22.00 for 2 and pay the balance in cash upon arrival.
It is well worth the $55.00 per person for the day in my opinion. It makes for a great relaxing day at the beach.

From the RC website:
"Celebrate the holiday season with some bubbles. As an added-value to our guests, the Ultimate Beverage Package will now include a complimentary limited edition Domaine Chandon Blanc de Noirs holiday bottle (one per stateroom) and bottomless Moet & Chandon champagne by the glass. Time Frame: November 2014 - January 2015 Available on: LG, GR, VI, EX, AD, NV, BR, JW, FR, LB, ID, OA, AL, QN"
My daughter called RC yesterday to inquire about this promotion, whether or not it would in-deed go thru the end of January (we sail 1/17), and RC rep didn't know about it.
Oh yay!!! Good to know! I love my champagne & also have the ultimate package so I'll definitely be taking advantage of this promo!

I emailed them last month to book our Cabana in Haiti and in their response they said they would be back in touch with me a week prior to sailing for any additional requests.
