Late 30's cruisers here, fresh off the Celebrity Edge in an aft sky suite. Due to kids it was our first cruise since the Celebrity Summit 7 years ago, and the Crown Princess 10 years ago. 

The crowd is definitely older but it doesn't bother us. Perhaps the biggest downside, Quinn Johner aside, is the music being a bit tailored to the older crowd but entertainment is low on our priority list compared to Food, Cocktails & Wine lists, pool/sundeck, & ambiance/design. Apparently I also need to add Service to that list because I've never cared much about it as my wife & I are very easy going.

The service on the Edge this past week was the most incredible I've ever experienced. Celebrity was smart in that they got us to pay up for a sky suite but it really was a step above anything we have previously experienced on RCC or Princess or even Celebrity. I also really applaud Celebrity's work on the cocktail lists, even if not all are a slam dunk. If you can find an acceptable rate I would really recommend it for Luminae & the Retreat sundeck/pool/bar.

Hello, we will be visiting on the Celebrity Edge in a week or two and I was wondering if there is availability to rent a vehicle without a reservation? Thanks!

Same for me, the gratuity question was a clue.

I do understand how this would lead to confusion and should be fixed by Celebrity. Annoying

I tried again to push back my final payment date to 60 days out (instead of due in six days from now for our June 13 cruise out of Rome). I was told that it was only applicable for sailings in May thru June 6th. I was also told that I would need to go through my TA, and that they possibly wouldn't honor it even if Celebrity did extend the dates.

Sailing on Apex out of Rome June 13. Called Celebrity & they said no extension on our final payment which is due in six days. I was told that was only for a few select northern european cruises in May up to june 6.

No. You are also missing the upgrades from E2->E1, also A3->A2, A2->A1. Also looks like C3->C2. When they say E1 or A1 excluded I think it means you just cant upgrade to a different class altogether (nothing above E1 in that class). 

I just booked E2 on Apex and was upgraded to E1 cabin location.

So these places have booths at the pier and shuttle their passengers?

I'm curious about this too. I've heard Avis is no longer at the pier. I have a reservation near the airport at the Avis PH3 location, going to need to research if there is a shuttle available as taxis both way may not make that one day $50 SUV rental worth it.
