  1. Has anyone taken a tour which included the Matryoshka Master Class included as part of the tour?

Best Tours has one tour which includes it, but it's the tour for folks with kids (we don't have human children). I'd still love to do one of the "regular" tours and add this on - was just wondering if anyone else had done the same?

Here's the link to the review of the class on trip advisor

  2. Folks, just a heads up, I read all of the talk about lower rates, etc - and while I wasn't able to score a lower rate for our cabin, I WAS able to take advantage of the FREE GRATUITIES that are being offered for our cruise right now. So if you have not called yet, get on the horn! Warning: it took DH 4 tries before he finally got through to a live person - he kept getting disconnected after waiting for a long time.

I can't wait to meet all of you! We have signed up for the meet and mingle, so we'll see you there. I haven't started packing yet... but I really want to!

  3. My family and I are taking the Thanksgiving cruise on the Crown. The iffy talk is makng me nervous but I am determined to have another great cruise on Princess.

my DH and I are on this cruise too - I personally, cannot wait. Hope to see you at the meet and mingle!

  4. My husband and I will each get a spa treatment coupon from our TA. One will be in his name and the other in mine.

Since my husband won't use his, does anyone know if I'll be able to use both?

I used my husband's coupon with no issue, but I used them on different days of a long cruise. I would think as long as you don't try to use the coupon on the same day, you'll have no issues.

  5. Can we get some updates from you folks who went on the tours earlier this year? My husband and I are looking at the 6hr western tour for our cruise in November.

  6. Hmmmm...Carr's are Cruisin' OR Butter us Up

1st option is a play on our last name. I could have a race track with cars for peeps to leave us a message.

2nd option is a cut out of a popcorn machine which I have and peeps can write us messages on the popcorn kernels....

Let me know what you all think?

I like 'em both... how about a combo - The Carrs are cruisin' so Butter us up - and then still have the popcorn kernals - which I think is SO cute!

  7. Last year I decorated our door for our anniversary (it was while we were cruising). There's no one theme that everyone goes by - it's all in what you want to do. So go for your wisconson theme - maybe attach a cheesehead? :D

  8. I decided that having somethign pre made would be too much to worry about - so I got a few things at the dollar store and taped them to the door when I got there... Our 4th anniversary was while we were on board...(and it's on New Year's eve)

Here's what our door looked like

  9. Hi Debra, since the cardstock is 2 ft in length and too large for inserting into the scrapbook, I cut it into a couple of pieces and scrapbook from there. A lot of folks will sign their names on it, and I will try to keep that part of the cardstock together. Hope I clarified for you!:p

you should take a picture of it to put intot he scrapbook with the pieces that you take from it! that would be cool - and you could save the "look"

  10. Nicki - your door is AWESOME! I am hoping to decorate our door for our Panama Canal Cruise in December - it will be over our 5th anniversary (on New Year's eve!) and I'm thinking I'd like to put a note pad or post its and a bucket on our door for folks to write down words of wisdom they want to share about marriage - any suggestions out there?

  11. I just made my own cruise journal - I bought a plain small chip-board spiral journal and covered it with patterned and plain card stock and added some stamped embellishments - It's my 1st try at a travel journal but I think it turned out really well...
