  1. Stopping in Cabo in late March with family (3 kids: 5/8/10).  Not there for very long and don't want to spend an arm & a leg on expensive excursions (Dolphin Experience)!  Was curious to see if there is anything close by (walking distance) that would be interesting/fun to do with the family that wouldn't break the bank.  Thanks!

  2. Traveling with family in March and wondering if it would be worth getting the Cheers package. I'm usually pretty happy with the drink of the day, but I haven't cruised in over 2 years and wondering what the current price is? Also, I hear there are happy hours in a variety of locations on board, does anyone have info in regards to locations and pricing? I hear the fish bowl is a great price, just not sure what that great price is?

  3. We just got off a 10 day on April 9th. If you have the late seating there’s not much to do since you’ll be seeing the Tropical Theater productions before dinner. The comedians and entertainers were pretty good but walked out during the ships crew production shows (They were pretty bad, everything from talent to costumes.) But they have the Schooner Bar where you can have a late night cocktail and hang out (not sure if they have a piano man since we never saw anyone playing the piano. Ever.), but we were traveling with our kids so we’d only go there before dinner (7-8pm) when they’d have trivia. However, 2 nights out of the 10 they had Adult Comedy shows at 10:15pm. Hope this is helpful!

  4. We visited Martinique for a day and had an awesome time with Brandon. He's American and was super flexible and accommodating. He's a genuinely nice person and didn't mind adjusting the day based on our preferences. We did some snorkeling at a great non-touristy spot, visited St. Pierre, checked out the Neisson Distillery and sampled different rums, and he barbecued fresh fish for us on the beach. He even showed us how to make the traditional rum drink from Martinique, the ti' punch! So much fun! https://travelerpalmexcursions.wordpress.com/

Thanks for this info, I too am looking into Brandon! Is this by any chance a private tour or with other people on a bus? Is the snorkeling off the beach or does he take you out on boat? And pushing my luck a bit, if you’re willing to share any pictures, that’d be appreciated!

  5. I’ve read Fontaine Didier is pretty popular and am curious if it’s something we can do on our own and appropriate for a 6 and 5 year old? Our ship has a hiking excursion but it’s for ages 12 and up. I’ve also read mention about other “better” hiking trails?

  6. Hi! Hope you had a great vacation! Did you by any chance book this excursion? I too am wondering what company RCC uses. Purchasing from the cruise line gives us a minimum age requirement of 5 and my youngest is 4. Any information you're willing to provide is welcome and appreciated.:)

  7. Hi, my family and I will be there in April and was wondering if there are any Snorkel excursions? I was looking into booking with Kata Mambo but the tour hours don't align with our arrival/departure times:( RCC provides one but the minimum age is 6 and one of my kids is 4.

  8. Very interested to hear what you end up doing! We will have an 8 and 3 year old and I am really struggling with this port. Going on NCL Dawn in November. We always book privately for excursions, but with the language and money difference (they only accept Euros), we decided this might be the one time we book through NCL. Surprise, the cruise line doesnt offer any excursions from this port!

I'm having a hard time as well. Would you mind sharing what you ended up doing with your kids? I'm currently planning our April 2018 vacation with my 4 and 6 year olds. Thanks!
