  1. MidWestCruiser69,

Where are you from? I'm near Green Bay, WI. I'm not going on the Legend until August and can't wait! Enough snow already!

I had to chuckle when you asked about the Muster Drill. When I mentioned to my daughter about the Muster Drill, she thought I said Mustard Drill. Very confused moment. Now I can't see or hear "Muster" without thinking Mustard.

I just started on these boards last month, my advice, explore all the different areas these boards. You'll get all your questions answered whether you knew you had the question or not. Any other questions, don't be afraid to ask, you're probably helping someone else.

Good Luck! I'm sure you'll have a blast!

  2. Akkarebear,

Sorry if I'm getting annoying. I guess I'm just addicted to the boards right now.

I read your review, which is also under member reviews for Legend. All I can say is THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU... :D

Couple more questions though. About how much did they charge for the snuba pics? And was the Gumbalimba Park included in the snuba or did that cost extra?

DH, 3 DD's (19, 17, & 14) and I will be going in August and the 19 really wants to scuba, but we said no, maybe snorkle, so this may be a good compromise. The 17 is crazy about monkeys, so this place may be close to perfection.

    Thanks again!!!!! :D

  4. Akkarebear, awesome pics. What kind of camera did you use for the underwater pics? Also about what time (approx) does the ship go under the skyway bridge? I'd hate to be in the dining room or something when we go under in August, it looks so beautiful.

Thanks for the pics! Now I just have to tell myself only 6 more months!

  5. Okay, sorry I know I just posted but I just remembered my other question.

DH, 3 DD's (teens) & I are sailing on the Legend 8/08 and wondering what anyone recommends for transportation. I think 1st we'll need airport/hotel, then hotel/pier, then pier/airport.

With 5, plus luggage (of course) what will work and what cost should we expect?

    Thanks!

  6. We've never been on Carnval before. My DH and I went on a cruise 23 years ago. We're going on the Legend in August with our 3 DD's. Two of them love the Disney Pins. Does Carnival have any pins or such for 1st timers?

  7. Can't wait to hear all about your trip! We're going on the Legend 8/03/08. My husband, 3 daughters: 19, 17 and 14. 17 and 14 are wondering if they can go to the same camp together as "age wise" they're divided. Also, can 19 tag along with them sometimes?

I know with some drinks you keep the souvenier glasses, any other "freebies" we should look for? They're always fun. :)

    Have a great trip!
