  1. Looking at the possible ATV tours available while in port at St Kitts. Royal Caribbean offers one and I have found a private tour company that offers one. Anybody done either? What were your thoughts?

  2. I have posted this same reply several places on CPT Bob questions. So if you check other threads you will see a repeat of this .

Just returned from the Oasis of the Seas Feb 23rd cruise. We were in St Maarten on Wednesday the 27th. I booked an excursion with CPT Bob for a large group. To a person we all said it was the highlight of the trip. At no time were we concerned about getting back to the ship. Our ship departed at 5:00 pm and we were instructed to be on board no later than 4:30. CPT Bob asked when we were do back and had us at the dock at 3:45. It is a 5 minute walk to the ship from where he docked. You can see it setting right there when you pull up. If getting back to the ship on time is your only concern as to booking with CPT Bob or not I would make a reservation. It is not a problem and if you don't you will miss out on what I would consider one of the primer excursions in the Caribbean! Simply incredible!

  4. Thanks for all the Ft Lauderdale information. I have a question if you do not mind answering.

I am going to make a pre-cruise hotel reservation at one of two Holiday Inns I am looking at. Either the Holiday Inn Airport/Cruise on State Rd 84 or the Holiday Inn Conf Ctr. The price is not a lot different so that wont be a deciding factor. Which would you prefer? What is around each as far as shopping and restaurants. Is either in a area you would consider better than the other. Could you walk to the beach if staying at the Holiday Inn Conv Ctr?

  5. "Houston We Have a Problem" in NYC. Need advice from anyone who might have a suggestion. The New England/Canada cruise I am going on in the near future ends in NYC. Debarkation in NYC will be in the morning as most cruises are. My group plans to site see in NYC before going to LaGuardia for our return flight home. With the idea of seeing as much as possible we booked an evening flight. Our plan was to either store or check our luggage at LaGuardia and then head out into the city rather than dragging it all over town. I have recently found out, and I don't know why I was surprised, that we can not check our luggage early at the airport, nor can we put it in lockers there. I am at a complete loss as to what the 8 of us can do with all our luggage during the day. Anyone have a suggestion?
