I won a bid to Aqua class. I was under the impression I get to eat in the Blu restaurant and the use of the spa perks that come with Aqua class. I saw on my reservation they still had me down for late seating. Does the upgrade not include the perks?

Wow you were right. I must have bid on both although I did not mean to. What do you get for upgrading to Aqua class? This is just a 4 day cruise. Not sure if this was worth it.

I bid $100 for a family stateroom and just got an upgrade to Aqua class for $240 which I don’t want to spend. Has this happened to anyone else?

If there were any cases, I did not hear of them on the Eurodam. I know they tested us before we got on the ship and when we were getting off.

Amazing Cruise Even with Covid Restrictions

I booked this cruise in June and thought things would be better by August. As we all knew Delta variant came around and I was unsure about going but so glad that we did. The crew could not be happier or more attentive. The embarkation was not as hectic as I thought although they could have had fans in this huge tent we waited in. We got there at about 2pm, was given a group number to wait which took about 45 minutes. We then proceeded to get our rapid Covid test. From start to finish, it was about 15 minutes to get the test and results.
The ship only had about 800 people which made it so spacious and comfortable. The crew was so happy to see everyone and from the dining room staff to the room attender, everyone could not be more helpful.
All the stops were great. We went to Corfu, Montenegro, Santorini and Mykonos. Be ready to walk and climb steep hills but it is worth it.
Shows were ok but not varied enough. They had a illusionist and a dance group. Both good but could use more variety.
Casino staff was great and couldn’t be friendlier. The wine tasting was fun and so was trivia. Food was also great and dining staff was fun and entertaining.
The ship was clean but is starting to look worn. Some curtains were tattered and it could use a bit of updating.
This was a dream destination for me and even my husband, who is not a fan of cruising as I am, thought it was a great cruise. Looking forward to returning to Holland America.

Just a follow up. I did get my credit thanks to you all on this post. Thanks especially to Laminator and NCTribeman. I played with their money all week coming home with some also. Thanks again.

I booked my upcoming cruise on a casino insider deal I got around the beginning of June. It was a good rate and $300 in the casino and free drinks while in the casino. I booked on June 8 and did not see anything about that on the booking. I called and a rep told me to just ask on the ship when I got on and they would have it.
Well today I called and was told they did not see that and I need the e mail to prove I should get that. I am so upset with them because I don’t have that e mail now and it looks like I’m out that offer. Anyone else receive this offer or had this issue ? I’m booked on the eurodam on aug 15. -
We are on the June 28 Veendam cruise and have a 6am flight out of Quebec on July 5. I called and they said you can get off the ship anytime from the day we arrive in Quebec, but to ask if they can arrange a cab or car to get us to the airport during the night

We are going on majestic princess Jan 13. Do we need a visa for this trip? We weren’t told anything about this from our travel agent but from some research it looks like we do. Please let me know from those recent cruisers
