Just got off the Sunrise and had a great time. Not crowded at all and service was great. Embarkation and Debarkation was fast, Muster drill took 45 seconds. Spent most of our time in Casino and left happy! Will definitely cruise Sunrise again, nice break from the bigger ships.
Since the capacity is probaly around 60 to 70 percent, was there an opportunity to upgrade your cabin once you boarded the ship? Or is that something you should reach out for a few days before sailing?

My wife and I will be sailing on the Sunrise 5nt Bahamas departing October 23. Will this be a loud party cruise that Carnival is known for or more subdued due to lower capacity? We are in our 60's and wouldn't mind a quieter 5 days.

5 tips I wish I knew before I cruised...
1. I would not of upgraded to a blacony cabin from ocean view ($300.00 upsell, only used balcony 3 times for coffee in morning. We really only used the cabin for sleeping, showering and changing.)
2. Not have gone out shopping for new cloths for the cruise. What I had already in my closet was adequet.
3. Only packed half of what I brought. Self service laundry available on several decks or leave it for your cabin steward, wash and fold was $15.00 per bag.
4. Enjoyed more time in the piano bar sing-a-longs and comedy club.
5. Not of purchased so many of the photos that were taken. They were all great, but 1 would of been sufficiant.
Dining time change.

We have the early dining time on our upcoming Oasis of the Seas cruise. If there is one or two nights that we want to dine later, can we just go to the My Time Dining restaurant and wait in line? If so, would we have to notify the staff that we won't be in the MDR that night?
