We are on deck 7 and from all my research it looks like the obstruction is the life boats but appear to be on deck 6, can anyone confirm this?

We have been on several cruises but this Aug will be our first Alaskan cruise, what are the main things that are different? What do I need to change in packing? Other then obvious clothes, weather, etc!!!

I'm so confused how Carnival can now charge me another $150 pp for my 3 kids under 12 that can't be vaccinated...... Am I crazy to be upset about this? I would totally understand if it was an option that I am choosing not to vaccinate but it's not??? I am with everyone else this is the 4th time we have rescheduled and each time I have had to pay more (so at this point my OBC is just replaced by the extra chargers I have paid). We love Carnival and Love cruising but this is starting to get out of control.

I was also torn between these two ships but I wanted a port intensive cruise because while others get off in Port I would rather sit on a half empty ship!! In the end we picked Vista for the Family Harbor Suite, we have 3 small kids and it made more sense for them.

Has anyone recently cancelled and taken the FCC? How long did it take? I submitted the paperwork right before all sails were cancelled yesterday because DH has diabetes and that put us on the restricted list.
I would like to try and rebook before rooms start to fill up?!?!
-
Im sorry I'm sure this is somewhere but you get an OBC for each 100 shares??

We are getting in at 850pm, I was thinking it would be smart to drive as far as we can towards port because traffic shouldn't be that bad?!?!

I found a much cheaper flight to fly into Tampa rather then MCO.....we are flying in a day early but my flight just got changed to arrive later at night. Thoughts on a hotel in Tampa or cheaper to hit the road and start driving and stop along the way??

To be honest, unless you have kids or are a really huge fan of Dr Seuss, it’s not really worth it because the menu is no different than what you can get for breakfast in the MDR any other day. They just add green dye to the eggs, red food coloring to pancakes (to make the hat), etc. But, it’s only $5 per person, so not bad to just try once, for the experience.
We have 3 small kids (3, 5, and 6) so i think it should be a great time!!! They have been watching videos and are very excited!!

Do I need to make a reservation for Green Eggs and Ham brunch? How is it? If I have to make a reservation can I do that before we go??
Thanks for any info anyone can provide!!

Thanks for the review!!! We are getting ready to leave in 50 days!!! I can't wait!!! We splurged and booked an extended balcony suite!!! Do you happen to have copies of fun times? Any must do's on the ship? I dont plan on getting off the ship on Port days we have been to these ports before and would rather sit pool side without the crowds!!! We also purchased the Cheers package, did I read they have self serve beer?
Thanks again for the review!!!

We had a GS on the Fascination before and I think you will appreciate the extra closet space and the big bathroom with full tub! Are those your kids' ages at cruise time? If so, they will all be in the same group in Camp Ocean which is the kids' club. They have lots of fun activities for the littles so you and your hubby can have some fun grown up time, too.
I've sailed Elation several times and we're heading her way again on 5/12 at her new homeport of Port Canaveral. Previously have sailed on her out of JAX. I would agree that Spring Break will be busy, but I am surprised by the previous posters note that BI was so slow. That hasn't been the case in our experiences. Hopefully it won't be for you guys either. Have an amazing time!
Sadly when we sail they will be 6, 5, and 3 so our oldest will be in the next age group up but I am hoping that will give her a better experience!! She is the only girl the other 2 are boys!!

Wow thanks for all the info so far!!
We have been Margaritaville in Turks and it is great!! I just love the emptiness of the ship when we are in Port!!!
Will definitely check out the martini bar!! I think we will be purchasing the Cheers package!!
I am excited about the GS there is 5 of us (3 small kids 2,4,&5) so we need all the space we can get!!
Hubby is very excited about Guys and Blue Laguna!! Thanks for the list of busy times!! We will also be on the ship during spring break so I figured it would be busy!!

Really hoping they fix this slide armband issue before our cruise. But not holding my breath!Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Forums mobile app

I pre-purchased the Relaxing Wave for my husband and I for $240 I think and it included a 30 minute massage and a facial, we traveled with our 3 little ones who hated the kids club so we hardly used the pass but the little we did it was totally worth it!!

So is the boarding photo included in the package or not? Does the package (100 photo's) also include dinner photo's etc? I would like to have photo's around the ship...not posing...
I asked my TA before purchasing and she said boarding photo is included!!

No laundry packages, but they do offer the pre-paid deals. The nice thing there is that if you, for example, purchase the 20 piece package, you don't have to send all 20 pieces at the same time. You can send them in batches as needed.
Ahhhhh nice to know!!!
