  1. We bought ours from the company running the day tour that we took. It worked well and did not turn white. We did have to rub it in when applying. Fairly easy to find in Mexico since so many natural areas require it. We swam in Cenotes and with sea turtles and were glad it was safe for the sealife. Also found on Amazon by searching for biodegradable sunscreen.

  2. Welcome to Cruise Critic. You should post your question on your cruise Roll Call.

The Roll Call for your cruise is at http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1874975 Please review Community Guidelines re: use of Roll Calls. This is the place to post questions related to your particular cruise and the best place to find others sailing with you who might wish to join you on a tour.

  3. If you really want to leave Cruise Critic, you can email help@cruisecritic.com and indicate your desire. You might also click on User CP at the top of the screen and unsubscribe from boards, newsletters, etc. that you might have subscribed to. User CP is where you control how you participate on the boards. Participation should be fun...not an annoyance, so only you can determine what meets your needs at this time. Do let me know if I can be of further assistance.

These are moderated message boards. What this means is that we do our best to remove all objectionable messages from the boards. It also means that you cannot say whatever you'd like on the forums. If you are looking for an "anything goes" setting, Cruise Critic might not be the place for you. Understand, too, that our community is comprised of folks who LOVE to cruise. It therefore stands to reason that they will have a favorite cruise line or port of call -- in other words, they are "fans" and will sometimes take offense when a brand new member has arrived on the scene to bash a cruise line.

Good cruising! Enjoy your participation as much as we enjoy having you as a member.

  5. OK, so now I have to worry about my entire trip - not just the 5 days in Paris and 2 in Barcelona prior to the cruise. I've been so glad to have lost a few pounds recently; now I have to be more diligent if I plan to fit into any of my clothes onboard. May need to rethink what I pack and just rely on stretchy clothes :)

Seriously, really looking forward to experiencing this ship!

  6. Prairiecruisecannucks,

Welcome to Cruise Critic. This is a great place to get your questions answered. A good place to start is to read the Community Guidelines (avoid breaking the rules :)). The folks here love to share information. The best place to find info about a particular cruise line is to click on the forum specific to that line; the best place to get info and meet people booked on your cruise is the Roll Call forum for your line, ship and date; and for new cruisers there is a forum specifically for First time cruisers. Enjoy!

  7. SailorJack,

While I am sorry that you had so many 'adventures' on your trip, I am so happy that you are a marvelous writer and story teller. My DH and I laughed hard with tears in our eyes, and, yes, rolling down our cheeks. What a wonderful way to, forgive the overused metaphor, make lemons into lemonade. I admire your candor, your way with words, and, most of all, your wonderful sense of humor. I only hope that we sail together some day. Thank you!

  8. We bought Sesame covered Pistachios on Santorini. Only regret...we didn't buy more! Mmmmmm Also saw them growing on trees across the street from the store (but without Sesame seeds :))
