We are booked for the 7 1/2 hour tour leaving at 10:00am. We get off the tour and go to the train by 6. Then train to Anchorage til 10:15. Straight to airport for 1:00am flight home.

We are doing the 7.5 tour with Major Marine tours. We arrive in Anchorage at 10-10:15. Would the 1:05 am flight be doable??

We are doing the Whale Watching, Mendenhall Glacier, and dinner at Tracy’s with Junea Tours. Trying to decide whether or not to rent a minivan and do the drive to Yukon independently or tack on the Yukon Tour with Juneau’s. It a tad bit cheaper to go independent, but wasn’t sure if it is worth the hassle of getting a car and driving ourselves. Anyone do this??

I am doing this in reverse. MIA to FLL, with a stop at Hollywood Beach to kill some time. Can I just reverse this route to avoid tolls as well? Rental cars charge an additional fee...which was more than double the original toll!

Thanks! I usually do a shared ride through SAS...for past 10 years! But I thought we could try Uber to save some money and not wait to fill a van!

Has anyone done this lately? We have 4 with just a small duffle bag each. The estimate for UberX is $35. Just wondering if that ends up being close to the actual cost. Not sure if surcharges will apply getting to the ship! Thanks!

Cruising with my father that has limited mobility. Does anyone have the cabin layout/photos for either of these cabins? Wondering if the sofa is closer to the bathroom or balcony. We need to park his scooter in the room. Thanks!

We prefer to have the freedom to go where we want after the cruise. We stay in FLL so there are no parking fees. We like to visit South Beach and Hollywood Beach and eat at Aruba's!
I get that shuttle where I drop my car at MIA. They drop you right at the door on the pier. You do have to have a reservation, but all people in the party are shuttled for free. It's easy, inexpensive, and offers you to go where you want for the day without relying on taxis!

I have always gotten a car rental at FLL the day before the cruise. I drop it at MIA and get free shuttle to port. After the cruise, the same shuttle picks me up and takes me to MIA to get another car. I then return that to FLL that evening or the next morning if we are staying another night. I pay less than $40 tax and fees included. For 3 or more people, it's cheaper than SAS shuttle.

I read that in the Fantasia category you don't have to pay the fee for delivery but you still have to pay for the food. I've sailed with various cruise lines and have never paid for food delivered. We just tipped the person who delivered it.

I've never had to pay for room service, just gratuities. MSC is beginning to disappoint me!

We normally rent a car to go from FLL to MIA. We drop off at MIA and then get the free shuttle to the port. We've never paid more than $60 total. This year, a van is around $150 for the day! I'm going to wait to see if rates drop...if not, we may take the SAS shuttle as well. We've had them in the past and they are very good. Groups of 5+ are $13/person.

Is there a door leading to the front of the ship from the forward cabins on Divina? I can't tell from the picture if this is public access or not!
