Can you stay on the ship if you are on a b2b. In the same cabin or not.

On a recent cruise we encountered a group that took over early dinner. Because of some of their dinner activities they did not vacate the dinning room in a normal timeframe. Therefore our dinner time was delayed some times over an hour. Complaining to the ships officers, the hotel manager had no effect. He said he could not control their behavior. Also they had their own shows in the theater. Once again they got what they wanted to the detriment to the rest of us. If I know I would never do that again.

According to CC who messaged the ship. It will not be offered. It is a shame that luggage valet will not offered on the summit when it is using port Everglades as a home port during all it charters. The capability is there they should just adapt to the the capabilities of the port.

On the summit in February and will be packing my dinner jacket with formal shirt and tux pants. I almost always wear a blazer and open neck shirt for dinner. I don't wear shorts to go to dinner at home so why on a ship? I really don't care what any one else wears except for men wearing their hats at the table. Being a retired Army officer I learned that the only time you wear a hat inside is when you are carrying a firearm.

Is anyone else troubled by the end of the luggage valet service? It was one of the things that made getting off the ship easy. X has not had a good reason for ending it. X days it's TSA,then they say it's because of damage to bags, then insufficient use is the problem. How about a straight answer.

First time on Celebrity. Our past cruises we purchased a 7 bottle wine package ( 7 night cruises). I guess I'm not seeing anything like that ?? Is there such ? Not quite understanding packages offered online.
Yes there are two wine packages. You just have to search for them. It is classic or premium. I think it is found under drink packages.

My favorite wine. I want to go to the Caribbean.

Shorts?? Only if they are Bermudas and worn with knee socks, good shoes, a collared shirt with a coat and tie. Just like they do in Bermuda.

Two stories. One a cruise in the early 2000 I wore my Army mess dress uniform. While waiting for my DW I was asked where the ladies rest room was. Guess they believed I was a crew member. Others got positive comments and free drinks. Before drink packages.
On our last cruise got many good comments about my white dinner jacket. I still plan to wear it in January. It is evening chic!!

Any advice on setting up a meeting of veterans on a celebrity Equinox cruise. Do you do before the cruise or after you are on board? Will they post it in the daily bulletin ?
Any advice will be a help.

I always dress for dinner no matter
which line I am on. At a minimum, slacks shirt and jacket. Some times a tie. Dinner Suit (Tux) on formal nights. It just makes it special. I don't care what others wear. Except hats at the table.
-
I don't know if this has been discussed before. In January in the southern Caribbean is a white dinner jacket with Tux pants okay. If I was Rick Blaine it would be OK but I am not. In the US white after Labor Day is a no no. But we will not be in the US. Discuss please.

As an Army retiree, Army regulations do not permit us to wear our mess dress (whites/blues) on our cruises, however we can wear our miniature medals.
As a retired army officer I believe you are incorrect. The AR states that the Mess Dress is appropriate for any occasion that you would be wearing black tie.

Remember Caesar salad at the table. Real flaming banana foster or cherry jubilee? Not now in the name of safety. What???

I like formal Nights. Sometimes a tux or white dinner jacket with tux pants. Or if I am feeling especially in need of attention my military mess dress uniform. All with formal shirts complete with studs. Never had a problem with luggage. DW also packs for it. IMO X should enforce the policy in the MDR or do away with it. There are sufficient eating venues for those that don't want to dress up. The formal nights make cruising special. When else would you dress formal? The occasional wedding.

Regarding hats in the MDR. As a retired solider,we were taught that only time you kept your cover(hat)on in doors was when you were carrying a weapon. Read gun. I don't think there are many cruisers carrying. Take your hat off when you are not on deck outside.

Booking this ship on Monday. There is some confusion on the time for late seating. One place says 8:30 another 8:45. What is the scoop?

Looking at the canal sunfarer cruise in February. Want regular sitting but web site does not give a time. Is there only one sitting at a set time?
