  1. We’re going in September and hoping to score Vibe Passes. We’re Gold but that doesn’t get us priority boarding. Quick question. Are the Vibe Passes at Guest Services or Headliners. I’ve read both. Last year on the Escape it was Headliners.

Thanks and following you adventures. Enjoy [emoji6]

  2. We always being extra too. I get the inexpensive thin ones that I just leave in the closet and don’t have to bring back. I also brought square cloth cubes at the $tree. They collapse flat for easy packing. These work wonderful in the top of the closet for extra storage !! Love these. No, I don’t leave them behind lol. They’ll be going on their 4th cruise in September so although they were just $1, they hold up great !!

Is it bad that when I get on CC I automatically come to this review?! I haven't looked at any other forums since you started this almost a week ago! It's like my hand does all the movement itself while on the mouse! Haha!

    Mornting!

  4. We had group shots going every afternoon at Vibe, bartender's choice. It was so much fun! Everyone in there would gather around the bar, and he would serve everyone at once, and we would do them together. Followed by another. Followed by another. There were some extremely tasty creative concoctions. I miss it so much. It was one of the best parties on the ship.

I checked our flight schedule yesterday and we don't land until 10:48 so I figure it will be at least 12:00 before we get to port which does not get us into a very earlier group. I was SO hoping to snag Vibe passes but from what I've read, that's mostly likely not going to happen [emoji30][emoji22]. Just hope by September, most kids will be back in school and the passes will not be in as much high demand OR the crowds at and around the pool will be less. [emoji41]

We were on the Getaway in 2014 with our son and daughter in law and had a blast !!! They went back again in 2015 and said it was an even more upbeat crowd. Last September on the Escape was our best yet. If you like to socialize and basically have a good time, NCL is the way to go....there's ALWAYS something going on. And yes, Tyler (Cruise Director) is a hoot !!!!

  6. Our son and is wife met him on the Getaway November 2015. Then August of last year, hubby and I met him on the Escape. He's a great guy and actually overheard us talking to another couple about our son being a law enforcement officer. He perks up an announces with a huge grin "I remember him....I remember him" LOL. He's makes awesome drinks and is definitely entertaining. Hope he'll still be on the Escape in September when we sail.

  7. We were beside a handicap cabin on our cruise last August and just peaking over, it was bigger than our Aft Balcony. If it was twice as big ??? Hmmmmm. Maybe ??? But the Aft Balcony has a lot of room and is deep enough for lounge chairs. In fact we had 2 lounge chairs, 2 regular chairs and small table and still had room. I hope this help :)

  8. Great job on the review. I enjoyed it very much. One question how was the Miami post cruise excursion?

It was actually pretty fun. Very informative and the ride was comfortable. It was an air conditioned shuttle type bus. Our tour guide had obviously been doing this for years because she was very good and I felt she gave a lot more details of what we were looking at other than just saying "This is ... house or this is ... street".

Lesson Learned: Our tickets and paperwork stated that we needed to have our luggage, except for our carry bag, out by our door by midnight the night before. We thought by doing this, our luggage would be taken to our shuttle for us and all we would need to do was clear customs. Nope, we had to go through all the craziness of finding our luggage with ALL the other luggage when we got off the ship. We walked through what felt like 3 warehouses  looking for the "black tagged luggage "section. So, if we do this again, we will take our own luggage with us just like we have done when you do a "Walk Off" that morning. Then go to customs straight from there.

This tour was a great way to put in some time before our flight. There was also the option of going to a mall shopping before going to the airport. They do the tour, drop the first group off at the airport, take the rest shopping, then return to the airport a second time. And if you do the tour/shopping but plan on going on a back-to-back cruise, they return those passengers to the port. We did the tour only.
