We are planning to stay in Galveston the night before our cruise on Nov 2nd. On Hotels.com I found the rate of $79 per night, it says there is free breakfast, wifi, free parking, and free shuttle to the ship. I called the hotel directly and their cruise rate (which includes everything mentioned above) is $107.10. They said if I book with another website that it will not include a shuttle or parking and they can't offer those services separately. I asked how I would get to the ship, and she said I would be on my own.

You think this is really the case? Should I just book through hotels.com and risk not having free parking & shuttle?

Hello! I did the excursion from Carnival to Zip line at YS Falls, LOVED IT! The ride over was long and crazy, but beautiful!! I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Gorgeous!! Brings back fond memories. We were at Paradise beach right after the Cozumel ports opened back up following hurricane Ivan a few years ago. What camera do you have?

That was taken with my Nikon Coolpix S50, I now have a Coolpix S210, but want an advanced or SLR lol! Can't keep me happy!

Hey yall, its new girl who only has 5 more months of questions for yall LOL!

Ok Ive called the cruiseline (Carnival) and they told me that my boys and I do NOT need passports to cruise. I thought ok, great.

Then I called the district clerks office and the post office where passports are issued and they both told me we are required to have passports to cruise.

We don't go until July.....my Vacation planner knows this and she said it didnt matter, but why am I getting two different answers?? :confused:
