i received refund yesterday for my cruise sailed May 21. i requested full refund on march 21st as carnival cancelled my cruise

i also have not received my deposits totalling $2200 for 4 cabins

i used 2  different credit card for booking and final payment as my card was fraudulently used and had to cancel same a few months back

i presumed that this would cause a delay in the payment refunded  and have emailed my travel counsellor  asking why deposits werent refunded and am still waiting to hear back

i didnt realise there was a nonrefundable deposit booking so hope i hadnt that booking made

i will post back any response i get back from travel counsellor and if necessary ring carnival when i can as living in Ireland

i also made seperate payments to each cabin for birthday and xmas presents for my family members booked as this was my husbands 60th birthday family cruise. some of these i have not been refunded but they may have been paid with the original booking credit card before it was cancelled !!

a bit confusing i know but hopefully get sorted  

WE ARE ALSO HOLDING OUT FOR CARNIVAL TO CANCEL AS MOST OF OUR GROUP WISH TO GET A FULL CASH REFUND.

never thought though about work stopping causing delays   with the renovation . if so that will definitely delay the ship debuting  so hence it should be cancelled though more likely will not be able still to visit other countries in Europe because of their coronavirus restrictions

As i said to my group,  hold out and dont accept any cash refunds with LARGE cash penalties attached which is all they re offering presently as we are not interested in rebooking.

hi, i booked a Mediteranean cruise for 20 may 2020 4 stops being in Italy on Carnival Radiance

IT HAS NOW BEEN REROUTED TO SPAIN !! which has areas of lockdown presently in Madrid and Basque areas. 

we dont feel that this will be able to go ahead either.

can we get a CASH refund with deposit used as FCC ? as some of our group will not be able to cruise within the year and so DO NOT WANT TO use all of the payment as a FCC !!

TRYING TO GET THROUGH TO travel agent but unable last 48hrs !!

hi there, i didnt actually book it yet, still early for may but got price off ZIP TRANSFERS.COM   and was 62 euro for 13 of us also quote off  SUN TRANSFERS.COM  70 EURO one way,  BOTH ARE FOR A MINIBUS OR SMALL COACH. THOUGHT BOTH PRICES VERY GOOD

I would feel happier gettin off ship earlier even if i had to take the bags off meself. Wud  try for 07.30 if possible. Thanx for the info n will book airlingus for the extra time. 

hi, we are arriving at 0600 into barcelona cruise terminal at end of cruise on a saturday. 

affordable flights to dublin are 10.20 or 11.00 or very late in evening and as we are travelling with young children we dont want to hang around for evening or night flights

if we prebook taxi to airport what is the earliest we can get off the ship in order to make these flights and is it doable??

we will be checked in but will have to drop bags off

hi can someone answer if there is a daily limit to how many alcoholic drinks you can have o a package?   just wondering !!?!!

Thanx for that info. We're on 14 day TA cruise so expect there to be laundry bag offer half way thru then. And the bag is per cabin. I take it they'l give an ironing board as well.

I Like to iron few bits 1st day n forget about it then. Theres always some shirts etc that crease no matter how u pack them. The last time we used this service they were so well folded they didnt need ironing n who wants to iron on holiday!:o

hi, we're going legend of the seas this sunday n visiting boracay

have booked allans fun tours as very cheap n they'll meet at the jetty port which is short walk from the tendered ship

not sure how tenders gona work til we get on the ship but hear that they may be allocated on the tour morning n you have to queue early for same

allans fun tours quoted us 600PHP FOR A 5 HR TOUR AROUND THE ISLAND STOPPING OFF AT SOME BAYS N LUNCH INC AS WELL.

its extra 200PHP if you get off at crystal cove also. this price was for a group over 10 otherwise i think its 800PHP

hi, we are booked to cruise legend of the seas and are tendered on boracay island, phillipines

we are a group of 16 people doing a private tour and wonder can 1 person get everyones tender tickets or do they have to indidvidually queue up to get them themselves as we all need to get off the ship at the same time

when do they normally allocate the tender times on board?

boracay is on the 6th day of a 10 day cruise

thanx very much for all your great advice. think i'l go to the church first and prebook the padden boat tour around 10.45 to save queuing and if time allows, run around a bit of the haga area. pity time so limited, but a short stay is better than none !! thanx again

hi, stopping in gothenberg for few hours on sunday 10th august and wonder what time the padden boats start? will the fish market be open? what time the shops in haga open and is there a catholic church in or near the centre?.

our ship sails at 2pm so time very limited.

hi, just about to sail on princess royal in 3 weeks and wonder if you have to be a previous princess cruiser to attend the captains party on board. we have sailed with carnival x 2 but never princess until now and wonder because carnival own princess will princess take this into account and let us attend??

and do they give free coctails/ drinks at these receptions ?

didnt realise it was so far away, wudnt mind if i cud get a car or minivan tour with few others from the cruise, tho that price quoted is very xpensive

no way could i drive on opposiite side of road tho to what i'm used to, that wud be asking for trouble n probably a major road accident in the making!! too much stress there!!

pity to miss out on this town, i'l ask few tour/car companies for quote and get back to yous.

Try....just try going to Civita di Bagnoregio.....An Impressionist artist could spend years there just trying to get it all in, and it is a tiny place. Those timeswhen you approach it and see it literally floating above the clouds...unbelievable.

hi, this place looks gorgeous and soo different. how can we get there from port of civitavecchia without hiring a car? is it far from the port? many thanx
