Thanks for the quick reply, it ALL looks good. We booked today and leave on the 22nd. so this is some rapid research to kind of get an idea about what to expect.

Sorry if this info exists but the SEARCH function is not showing up so if any kind soul has current mdr menus and / or room service I would really appreciate it. We just booked for a pack and go sailing in 5 days and have never sailed Celebrity, looking forward to it.

I LOVE the brunch idea! I am on vacation, I sure shouldn't have to get up early just to get breakfast, it should be laid back and having late breakfast at noon sounds GREAT! Schedules are way over rated. Relax and get on island time, you might just like it! :D

Of the cruise lines I have been on, Princess was disappointing in variety and quality of the dishes served in the main dining room. Joe,the French Laundry it is NOT!

Extra Well Done. Cooked throughout. If you know how to prepare it you can keep it juicy and tender and not rough like shoe leather.
Extra Well Done & Juicy ..... NOT POSSIBLE! The chef must have dipped it an au jus because it would have NO juices of its own left!

definitely Princess....thin New York style pizza...then Disney and Carnival...
Thin? New York? That isn't pizza. Chicago Pan pizza, that's pizza!

You can always grab a snack at the buffet, you will NEVER go hungry. We tried anytime dining, it was just not the cruise experience you get with the traditional. Wait staff that becomes familiar with you, table mates who share experiences. I vote traditional!:)

Based on the cruises we have taken, here are our ratings:
For the best would be Carnival; the food and service in the main dining room was outstanding.
Tied for second, is Royal Caribbean and Holland America. The Italian themed specialty restaurant on Royal Caribbean was outstanding.
Coming in last, is Princess. The food was quite ordinary. On the occasions when we had dinner in the buffet restaurant (Horizon Court) we were quite disappointed. The food at dinner was simply food left over from lunch. Items served that night in the main dining room were not served in the buffet restaurant as they stated. The Italian themed specialty restaurant was outstanding in both food and service.
I 100% agree with your review! Our experiences were very much the same! The Asian restaurant on Holland America Eurodam was some of the best food and service land or sea!

Princess had the worst food. Carnival food has been consistently the BEST!

The Eurodam has the Tamarind restaurant. This place is reason enough to sail the Eurodam, FANTASTIC! Sushi and sashimi you will love it we did.:D
