great news again. keep on keeping on....

you have to be out of the rooms by 8:30. You will have to lug your luggage if you have any left with you to breakfast and around the ship until time to get off.

GREAT NEWS... Hang in there.

Kim, Hang in there. So sorry this has happened. We love you and your pictures and cruise reviews.

I was reading the review on this page of the cruiser who said they had to wait an hour-and-a-half to be seated for your time dining. I don't know if that is accurate or an exaggeration, but this has me concerned for my upcoming cruise. This will be our first time doing anytime/your time dining. We couldn't even get on the wait list for the early dining and there was a wait list for the late which, really, is just too late for us anyway between children who usually eat about 5:30-6 pm and retirees who are used to eating dinner at 5-5:30 pm.
We have a party of 8 and I know we may not be able to sit together; but my bigger concern is that because this is a Christmas cruise, it will probably be a full ship. (Already, few available rooms.)
So...is there a time people have found that is best for YTD? Is going early when they first open better or waiting a bit?
Also, how long does dinner service typically take for you frequent cruisers? In the past, I never felt like it was excessive, but on my last cruise on the Vista, dinner service was taking so incredibly long that we stopped going to the main dining room (Reflections) the last couple of nights because of it. (This was also when the Vista was pretty new so may have still been working out the kinks.)
we love it , and most days we are there in line at 5:45.. we get quick service and get out of the dining room.

I was sitting at the Red Frog Rum Bar when the Captain made the announcement. The entire pool area broke out in applause and cheers. I think that 95 percent of the passengers understood and were very happy. Of course the other 5 percent.....
Jim and Patty, glad you all are ok.

does anyone know if the Freedom has half price beer on the day you get on? i saw a post about beer and now i cannot find it.

I loved the Chef's Table. Check done that.... It has a lot of foods i do not eat. Beef steak being one of them and the chef stood right by me and watched me take a bite. LOL. I said i do not eat a lot of beef. He laughed. Linen napkins and i could not even take care of it. hide it etc... It was worth the experience to go.....

porters are very handy people.. use them and they will load it and pull it to the drop off spot or the curb.

Mr Labrador fruit dog got me for taking a bananna off. Mexico does not allow any fruit to enter. Now you will see whole cows and chickens hanging in meat market with no refrigeration etc. lol....Be careful. Cereal used to be in small boxes and now it is going to be in large containers you self serve. We always bring peanut butter crackers to take to the beach etc.
