Has anyone recently visited the Steakhouse on the Sunshine? Is the "new menu" being served? We cruise at the end of February and would love to try something new.

Does the Sunshine have the new menu in the Steakhouse? We are going on Feb 23 and we're hoping for the new menu. :)

Does anyone know if you are a Platinum cruiser if you have to go to Deck 5 and check in for a table assignment? I thought I read somewhere that if you were Platinum that you did not do this, that when you boarded and went to your cabin you would have directions of where to go for dinner.

Has anyone requested one of these from Carnival? How long did it take them to reply? Do they email you the statement or mail to you? I requested mine 2 weeks ago and have not had a reply yet from anyone.

Has anyone cruised the week of Easter? Was it really full of kids and families? Trying to plan vacation and not sure if this week would work.

Just back today. Warning! This is the noisiest cabin ever. The door to the "private" deck at the front of the ship is right beside your cabin. People going in and out all hours of the day and night slam 2 doors each time. Also the storage room for the room steward is next door and he is going in and out and that door slams too.. Just thought you might want to know in case you are thinking about booking this room.

We recently cruised on the Dream. When we got back to our cabin free cruise letter was waiting! The problem is the cruises that are available are all within the next 5 weeks. If we don't use it this time (because who can ask off again from work when just coming back from a week off) will we ever receive another free cruise offer from the casino without having to cruise again and drop another pile of money in the casino???

We are back from our sunshine cruise and have a quick question. Has anyone cruised lately and not been happy with their wait staff at dinner? We had a large table of 13 people and only had one waiter during the entire meal time. He also had to wait on three other tables of 4 people. He only had one person helping at the beginning of the meal to fill our glasses and then the helper was no where to be found. Every night we were lucky to get a refill of our water glasses by the end of the meal because our main waiter was running around "like a chicken with his head cut off". Has anyone else had bad service like this lately? :(

I am also looking for the copy of the fun times for this cruise as well. In case you still have them.
