  1. I just loved this place! We stopped by and we thought the concept was great so we figured let's just get a couple! We bought two, the salted caramel and the pina colada. The salted caramel cookie was the BEST cookie I've ever had that didn't come out of my own kitchen. And my whole family is crazy about cookies. I did try a couple of different booze squirts and they were good but the cookie didn't need it. Next time I go to San Juan, I will buy more....probably gain some weight, but they are "worth the trip"

  2. Thank you so much to most of you for answering this thread. I actually learned a lot. I am not a health professional so this was informative. I only asked because the announcement woke me up, scared me (much like a phone call from a relative in the middle of the night) and I truly felt bad for whoever needed help. As for the "negative" replies...REALLY??? I wasn't looking for a name and number....I will think twice before I post here again.

  3. I just got back from the Apex sailing, March 23-30. On the last night at 1143 pm there was an announcement asking for any male passengers with O positive OR negative blood to report to the infirmary. Anybody have any idea what happened?? I did see a stretcher and an ambulance at the ship in Port Everglades. Just curious, and scary for whoever needed the blood.

  4. Hello there! I ended up emailing the executive offices and here is what they told me to do. They said, cancel the cruise, file a claim with Travel Guard, they will deny it, and once I get the denial Celebrity will see if they can do anything for me. So that is what I will do and I will let you know the outcome...thanks for everything!

  5. So, the hammock...it's a Yellow Leaf Hammock. I bought one as soon as I got home from my cruise in 2022. I installed it at my daughters, and THEN I bought the portable hammock chair, OMG bring it everywhere!! And yellow leaf has the hammock chair and regular hammocks in a variety of colors. However, you can't buy the red, that is Virgin only. Doesn't matter though because they are so comfy any color will do.

  6. Thank you, very good advice, my cruise is March 23rd, two people, and I'm pretty sure there is nothing I can do. I will lose the money if I can't go. It is what it is. I'm fortunate that This won't break the bank. My daughter is about to file for divorce, he doesn't know. this is due to an increasing volatile situation, no fists yet but probably inevitable if she stays. She just told me that this has been going on for a year and a half...if she told me 3 months ago I wouldn't be out this money. But I have a 5 year old granddaughter that is "afraid" of her father and the lawyers have advised my daughter NOT to leave the family home because if she does she could lose custody. Pretty bad advice if you ask me...in any case, he seems to be able to control his temper when other people are around SO as soon as she tells him I will be moving in because we don't know how he is going to take it. I recently retired and this is my life, UGH

  7. Does anyone know if the Aqua will do a revenue cruise from Boston? Before she heads to NYC? I don't see anything on the website but I do know she ends in Boston after to transatlantic sailing.

  8. Thank you, I am past final payment and only 5 weeks until my cruise. This answered my question. I have a few days to decide. I dont want to be on a cruise and worry about whats happening back home. I also hate to lose the money. This issue came up yesterday, its been ongoing for a very long time but I was just told yesterday. and just a small hint, an unexpected filing for divorce due to some volatile actions by a spouse....I am beyond angry

     

  9. I booked a cruise last night, I never got an email or a confirmation number. But, it did say, we look forward to welcoming you on the Apex. I called this morning and spoke to Diego who said they need a confirmation number to look for my reservation. He couldn't find it. When I log in to Celebrity. it says I have no cruises. I checked my credit card and there is no charge for the deposit. I just tried booking again....the same thing happened. What now?

  10. thanks for all the replies! I ended up messaging Virgin and somehow we had 2 separate accounts? They fixed it, and it was pretty immediate...great service! By the next day I was able to go on my App and put my husband in!

    As it’s full season, finding hotels was more than likely very difficult. Glad to hear they offered this up as a great alternative. 

    At 10 last night I looked at the Marriott website and was surprised how many rooms were available. Most of the hotels had plenty of availability

    I agree with that! Met him on the Escape in 2016. At the 5 oclock somewhere bar, which was outside and fabulous! Any chance we could find out how long he will be on the Encore?? I saw him on the BLISS in 2018, which is where he was told NO MORE HAT. I see that all of his pins are now on his tie, so sad. I am sailing on the Encore at the end of April and was hoping he would still be onboard.

  13. I was lucky enough to meet Clarence on my Escape sailing in 2017. He's such a nice and fun person. He's a great bartender too. I'm so happy to know he is on the Bliss. Can't wait to see him on Saturday!

     

    Shame on the person that complained about a hat. :mad:

    As far as I can remember from what Cowboy told me, this Saturday is his last cruise before a 6 week break. then he will be back on the Bliss until they put him on the Encore. Please if you see him, post a photo of him with his hat! I couldn't get one!

  14. He told me that he is buying a new hat the next time he gets off the ship. He has been with NCL 17 years, why didn't they just tell this passenger anything they wanted to hear and then just ignore it? I filed a complaint with guest services. Showed them his photo from the Escape, then said, "I can't find this guy anywhere, cuz he is NOT wearing his hat" she thought I was crazy but she took my complaint form!
