    ... booking early for my Aug 2024 b2b ...

I also booked this b2b but on starboard side. I did not realize there is a Promenade Deck so not directly looking out the window to the sea; I also have concerns about pedestrian traffic and/or noise that might be on the promenade since I am not a morning person and sleep in. I was on Symphony on Deck 5 to AK in 2019 with my spouse and the picture window was great and enjoyable.

  2. We will be on the Insignia next week. Can the Grand Dining Room menu be viewed, each day, on TV in the cabin? Thanks.

Yes. I checked the TV channel most days on Insignia in July cruise. Convenient so you don't have to go down to the dining room to view. If you have a concierge cabin or above you can order meals from the dining room to your cabin - we did this for lunch several times which was great. Wonderful shrimp cocktails with avocado that we enjoyed on several different days, and the various club sandwiches were excellent that we split. A few times we went to the dining room for breakfast and the banana pancakes were awesome - had one last time the morning we disembarked the ship.

  3. All,

Sadly, I must be prepared to do some work on board and need to bring my PC. We are staying in a PH, and from what I have read and can tell, we should get free WiFi all day. Does anyone know if this is the case, and if so, how strong it is?

    Thank you in advance!

My vacations are working ones; I was on the Insignia in July for 10 days and Internet was fine (expect it to be slower than home) except for one port where we were docked next to a military ship in Canada which seemed to have an effect to block signal - once we left to go out to sea it was fine and Internet functioned again. Was on the Regatta last April to Bermuda and no issues with Internet to do work.
